@@Ragnarok540 Forbidden Droplet is fairly common in Sky Strikers and also doesn't target, so it can negate BLS for the turn and let you destroy it during that turn.

Also until the deck has answers to targeting protection you kinda have to pull wacky stuff to out certain bunguses. As a Sky Striker player myself, this was painful to watch. I run Droplet and Kaijus in my Striker deck specifically to deal with shit like BLS and Avramax. In fact, I even have BLS in my own Striker extra deck as an alternative finisher to Accesscode because I can sometimes go into it with its protections using Pankratops.
Soldier Soldier Soldier - Soldier of Soldier is my favorite soldier-type soldier. Also yeah, twitch's ads have been ridiculous lately. I've had 9 ADS IN A ROW on a stream the other day.
It hurt though, it hurt so much, would've thought after failed target and failed destruction he would realise lmao, then came the jamming waves and zeke, I cried so hard. In the sky strikers defence, depending on his deck, he maybe didnt have a single way to deal with it except accesscode, but DL had droplet set lmao. I thought that was true at first, but after I saw all of the card that deck is super easy to play. You have an answer for most situation becasue you can search an out to that. The only hard part is "think" since some player doesn't do that.
@@hikaritsumi2123 There's also the issue of if you don't run said out. They don't have any non targeting stuff from what I know so you have to use generic stuff for that.
Right now there's Jamming Waves(which still destroys so it's bad at that with how many annoying targeting immune things have destruction protection) and Vector Blast, which specifically bounces extra deck stuff so it can break an Extra Link, but mills 2 from both sides which is annoyingly risky. You're better off running generic stuff over Vector Blast, and using Jamming Waves to either hit your field/equip in set to trigger their floating effects or force out/break set backrow. They'll get their own searchable Tribute machine eventually, and along with that an alternative special summoning method that can give the Red and Blue modes enough attack to beat over stuff more easily under the right conditions. There's also Limiter Removal I guess, but unless you're on Aggro builds(which will get more popular once Linkage is out) that's not too common to see.
Misplay is ok when u being rushed of time or just didnt notice what card their using, but u still didnt read after u failed and still tryhard to counter a card and effect did nothing. Just stop play sky striker
@@hikaritsumi2123 Sky Striker has weak board presence, has trouble walking over anything bigger than a Dark Magician, is incredibly weak to any sort of S/T destruction, and needs to plan out at least a full turn in advance. It runs into roadblocks against any deck that has monsters that float on destruction, things that can't be targeted/destroyed (see the BLS in the video), and anything that is unaffected (the deck practically can't get over an Ultimate Falcon or Geomathmech Final Sigma until HAMP gets added.) It even has trouble closing out games since usually the strongest attacking board it can put out is a 2500 ATK Zeke, now that Halq is banned and it doesn't have a clear and easy line into Accesscode. The cards are simple at first glance and Raye is a surprisingly sticky threat, but it is not a deck you can just pick up and play. There's no linear combos to get you to specific powerful endboards, you need to be correctly anticipating and answering every single threat as it comes, and while Sky Striker is very good at recurring its resources there is a very finite number of times you can do so and you need to plan accordingly.
In all fairness, that could've been his first time with the deck, but dude, all you have to read about a card is if it has targeting protection or not, if it doesn't, proceed as usual, if it does, play around it, or stall until you draw the out or have enough resources to make your way out of the situation.
I've actually been enjoying the Link Festival more than I thought I would. Decided to try out Marincess since I already had an idea of what they do from the N/R Festival, and I pulled Aqua Argonaut, Coral Triangle, Springirl, Sleepy Maiden, and Marincess Dive from my first 10 Cosmic Ocean packs. Since then, I've realized Marincess are kinda cracked and I think I love it. Aqua Argonaut needs a summon animation.
Is Aqua Argonaut the other Link 4 in Master Duel besides Wonder Heart? Also, if you wonder why Wonder Heart has a summon animation it's because they belonged to Aoi/Blue Maiden in the anime as her Link 4 monster.
@@CodaBlair There's three Link 4 Marincess monsters, Wonder Heart, Great Bubble Reef, with Aqua Argonaut being the one that came out in that newest card pack. Argonaut's the weakest one, base stats wise, but she's the best one in my opinion. While Argonaut's in the Extra Monster zone your opponent can't attack any of your other monsters, during your turn she can target a water monster you control and a card your opponent controls to return them to the hand, and during your opponent's turn if a Spell/Trap or effect is activated you can special summon one of the Marincess monsters equipped to her to negate that effect, with both being effects being once per turn. So she can bounce cards during your turn, provide back row protection during your opponent's turn, all while being immune to your opponent's card effects and having 4300 attack if you brought her out using Crystal Heart while you have Battle Ocean on the field.

Sky Strikers sadly attract a lot of brainlets who think with their dicks, which is ironic because the deck actually takes skill to play well in MD. It's not just monke flip floodgates, build a gigantic unaffected Fortnite tower, or unga bunga big number OTK. You actually have to understand opposing decks, know their chokepoints, and use your targeted interruptions wisely.

If you search "best decks for beginners" Sky Strikers is one of the most suggested. So, it's safe to say lots of Sky Strikers players are new to the game.
@ For Master Duel or for real life? In MD, it's understandable to say that because it's cheap to build (the deck only needs 3 non-staple UR's to be playable), but for real life? I dunno about that.
My brain hurts seeing that play. I don't run Kaiju in my build so my only out there is to turbo Accesscode with Dharc. Also I can't believe Striker player don't run Droplet or DRNM in this meta. Striker is my 1st complete deck in MD. Nowadays I cycle between Orcust, Musketeer, ZW-Eldlich and sometimes Traptrix for fun.
