This is truly their most beautiful song. The mix between heavy and soft.. both parts are magical, almost undescribable. No other song captures this epic feel as this one.

(CONTINUED)... I just looked it up, and along with what I already told you. I guess the lyrics are also very strongly influenced by a very "enlightening LSD trip" that M. Shadows (the lead singer) had. He said it was such a life changing experience that it made him think in a totally new light and look at life in a completely different way. Hence all of the philosophical thoughts in the lyrics. When you read the lyrics with this knowledge, it really makes the meaning behind them more clear.

All I have to say on this Mr. Alan Lloyd is go back to the roots of metal and write something yourself. Once you start making money off of it, (even tips work), then you can have some room to bash others' music. Although, don't be surprised if things aren't as easy as they seem. I've been doing the music/rock-band thing for about 7 years now. It's tough.
Furthermore, you might have a few people bash you for saying malicious things. Sure, this isn't technically metal. It's more hard-alternative with certain "Metal" qualities. But even Justin Bieber, "watered-down...rock...metal posers", and those who do the "twerking" probably make more in a day than you do in a week.

I hate heavy music post 2000. This bad combination of heavy guitar and pop melody does not work for me. Music is soo formulaic anymore. These popular bands sound the same, even if the music sounds different, the poppiness is the same . So, you have avenged sevenfold, lostprophets, linkin park, all 3 are stylistically different....so why do they sound the same to me ??
