As someone who has played the game since early 2020, I won't miss the old playermodels. They were so crusty looking lmao. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like all the military personnel had this weird white dust all over them, like someone sprinkled asbestos all over them lmao.
So much about this game is hideously broken, both in functionality (the optimisation) and the balance (scp 096 has been nerfed too much and scp 3114 is too op, (first playable scp to be added in years ofc he’s gonna be on almost every server). So it’s nice to see NW fix a few things at least, too bad NW doesn’t seem o know what said word “optimisation” means
I know why this games magic died for me personally. The community I was a part of in it fell apart and the updates made our custom plug ins that made the server great with its dynamics specifically SCP proximity chat no longer functioned. That and now everyone knows how to try hard at the game and has some level of skill in it trying to hyper optimism what’s supposed to be a casual and chaotic experience. So there you go.

@@goochencore4128 just keep in mind they aren't some robocop that can singlehandedly contain SCP but are in fact normal special ops soldiers Read any SCP article including MTF in it and I guarantee you'll see something about heavy losses etc. I get Sci-fi but that's just... @@Losowy 1. The MTF gear is not very futuristic, the shape of it only gives that illusion. 2. The Chaos Insurgency has modern equipment, or at least early 2000s. Look at their helmet, gas mask and vest. 3. The guards we play as work in the entrance zone, not any of the containment zones. Their day to day duties consisting mostly of manning checkpoints, looking at IDs and responding to minor accidents. Besides, there is heavier equipment in armories all around the map
