Other problems such as class talking, disturbance, messing around causes people not to listen causes alot of time waste. Who knows how much content a class can cover if everybody was quiet. But that never happens. It also takes 5-10 minutes alone for students to settle down before the lessons even starts. Im a student and when i look in my class, no chance. Freesciencelessons is a legend though because there is no disturbance from other people at home a person can concentrate better.
Out of the hundreds of videos I have watched of this Legend, this is the first one with a spelling mistake. Honestly impressive (if you are wondering: 2:34 - "errror")
I've been going through your videos and they've been really helpful. One question I have is, is it okay to learn from your videos if your taking IGCSE? Either way I'll still be watching and learning. I cannot thank you enough for the knowledge your providing. Especially if like me, your more of a visual learner. That said, I'll still be buying your books soon :)
Hi. My videos are made for the AQA GCSE specifications in the UK not the IGCSE spec. However, there is a lot of overlap so you'll find many of the videos apply.
I havent sat my GCSE's yet as i am still in year 9. but i appreciate these videos and i really hope you do not stop any time soon. thank you very much :)
if u keep the pd low to make the current low wouldnt that increase current? in step down transformers arent you meant to decrease pd if u want current to increase and increase pd if current needs to decrease ?
Hi Sir, thanks a lot for these videos, they're really helping with my revision. I just wanted to know, are there more practicals required in Topic 2 Electricity? It's just that I've looked at my CGP book + AQA spec and there are more practicals-'IV Characteristics' and 'Circuits and Resistance'(in series and parallel). I'm a bit confused so could you clarify for me?
Yes a lot of students who are following Edexcel use the videos. However, these are based on the AQA spec so there are a few differences. I'd recommend consulting your spec and your textbook as well.
You have to insulate the wire to avoid an electric shock and make sure you turn on/off appliances to avoid overheating/ a fire. Also, make sure you don't touch wires and appliances with wet hands. I think that's it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong/ need to add more. 👍🏾
The factors are the length of a wire at constant temperature which he goes through in this video But you also need to know about how combinations of resistors in series and parallel affect resistance.
I finished my exams like 2 weeks ago but I'm gonna stay subscribed cuz ur an absolute G
If you read this I hope you pass your physics exam next Wednesday
:)
so do I :D
my guy
you to bro
Ima do way more than just “pass” 😂🍬
if this guy was your teacher the lesson would be way more fun and we would actually learn in class, also the lesson would probably end in 4 minutes 😭😭

yeah pretty much
When you are doing a gcse the same amount of people always fail each year even if everybody watched this legends videos.

Yeah its even worse now
Not anymore you guys getting it easy
currently celebrating 1 year since this video was made by watching last-minute freesciencelessons before my physics mocks (^^;
Those who are grinding this year like to let me know
explained this better in 4:30 than my 1hour school lesson
your videos are so clearand easy to understand, thank you
Couple of hours to learn the whole of physics
How did the paper go lmao
Here before the people who are cramming the day before the physics test
Shhhhhhhhh
UK Drill Analyser I call this cramming…
Its under an hour away..
not even a day before, an HOUR before
Anyone else never done this practical before?? Don’t remember doing this...
H S me neither I don’t think it’s a thing but imma do it just in case
Yep
H S big facts I only remember pushing a car down a slide or some shit
someone ended up exploding a pen or something when we did it in class soo....pretty difficult to forget haha
I did it in year 9
thank you sir, I have exams soon and your videos are keeping my grades afloat
Good luck tomorrow :)

Good luck to any of you guys taking this exam tomorrow! We’re gonna slay

who's doing physics on wednesday?
midas Chowdhury just started revising now and nothing is going in. too tired after English lol hope this won't bring my chem and physics grade down
Help lol

after gcse finishes ima buy a hoodie lmao. gottt pay this guy back somehow
Thanks sir got my exam today.
Actually saving my gcse thank you
in our exam, can we just say "use a variable resistor" or do we have to explain the crocodile clip part?
thanks
No u cant coz the independent variable isnt resistance its length
ur videos had helped me greatly in GCSE and i wondering if ur gonna make videos for a level like physics or chemistry
Is this still the required practical 3 in 2023? I checked my books and the one we have is different
maybe different exam board?
Exam is tmr and idk none of this

I've realised, just learning the practicals is the easiest way to pass gcse science if you've left your revison too late
dude banger video !!
when my group did this in year 9; we may have accidentally set the ruler on fire
great video sir! but at 2:32 there is a grammatical error? it says "systematic errror" with 3 rs
shush man it's not important

We did the practical another way with a variable resistor and this pointy metal thing to select the wire lengths. Are both acceptable in the exam?
Is this a core practical for Edexcel? i cant seem to find the spec point for it so is this just for aqa?
Me reading the comments : ‘hope to pass my exam watching this😭 ‘
Me the only one still in year 9 : hehe boyyyy
thanks
One day left!!!! Good luck everyone!!,
I didn’t understand the last bit about this experiment, do we need to know about the variable resistor

why doesn't increasing the pd reduce the current? isn't that how it works in the national grid?
MY EXACT QUESTION PLS LET ME KNOW IF U FIND OUT

can I say voltage instead of potential difference
Yeah. Good luck tomorrow

where is the practical on the combination of resistors in series and parallel and their affect on resistance

Hi how many hours would an assessed practical for GCSE usually take?
Depends on the practical, sometimes from 30 minutes to a few days of waiting
2021 year 10 mock 1's?
at 3:20 for the second point do you mean voltage? Or does pd keep current low?
Maab Abdelatif potential difference is the same as voltage
voltage and potential difference are the same things

Is a systematic error just one that you can’t change?
It's one caused by faulty equipment
no, if you know the mistake you made or what is wrong with the equiptent you can use, then you can change that
He made an errror in spelling error
Yh
🤣
Exam tomorrow lol
Why do you have to keep the resistance low through the variable resistor when you're measuring the resistance?
bcoz if we increase resistance, it would heat up causing more faults
Shush gcse2020🤢
this didnt age well 😪
This realllyyyyyy didn’t age well
😀
I'm slightly confused... what are the factors affecting the resistance?
the length of wire and the heat, where heat is a controlled variable
The factors are the length of a wire at constant temperature which he goes through in this video
But you also need to know about how combinations of resistors in series and parallel affect resistance.
Does Zero Error also effect resistance?
