Ekster 2.0 Parliament Wallet Review!

Hey peeps! happy holiday season! I just got done with exams, and have more time to upload videos on a regular basis. Today, i review the Ekster 2.0 Parliament edition! EDIT: Ekster reached out to me and confirmed that its actual genuine leather! Its crafted with premium Dutch/German top-grain leathers. They also told me that the problem with the bill compartments will soon be adjusted in 2~3 weeks; it just depends on how long its been used. props to Ekster!

Thanks so much for yet another great review! Lovely to see the comparison to the 1st Gen Parliament. FYI, it is genuine leather which ages with time. The closing issue you are experiencing will only happen in the first 2 weeks of use. With use, the leather will stretch and will close perfectly! The flap was designed shorter in order to avoid it from easily shifting around and losing form with use.

Awesome, Thank you for the clarification. I just purchased mine over the weekend and I am patiently but more so excitingly waiting for my wallet to arrive. I purchased mine without the tracker due to funds but will be getting a tracker in the near future to complete the experience. Also great review Technovative!

Good job on getting started. But you should know the material that the wallet is made of. Considering its price it should be leather and it is actually leather as stated on the web site. Also, I really don't have any idea as to how the tracker works. If the tracker activation button is inside the wallet then what good is that when I loose the wallet???? If the wallet is lost then how do I track it, how does that work?

Does it have issues holding metal credit cards with no embossing?

(8:08) I understand that the 2nd generation wallet doesn't hold as much as the first. Although I think Ekster have done that to reinforce their idea of having a smaller build frame. Like they said, it'll probably stretch with use. Plus in the next couple of years, use of cards will decline with NFC and other technologies gaining more popularity.

Great review, but after reading reviews about the trigger breaking after about 9 months to just after a year of use, I cannot justify buying such an expensive product to have it break within 2 years, and their warranty is gone after a year. That trigger device does look like a place of fragileness, and I was concerned about it BEFORE I read the long term reviews just from looking at it, and my fears seem to have been proved to be so. They should redesign that trigger and the mechanism using stainless steel or titanium to make it a lot stronger than plastic.
