Luke really is something else. His vocals are just incredible but even more insane is the control he has over his voice even when they're playing live. He's jumping around and sweating his ass off but still hits every single note just like in the studio version and we're talking about songs like easier or teeth. He's just insanely good

5 Seconds of Summer actually have a lot of beside tracks. I think there's at least 15, definitely more then that. I feel like Michael sings more on punk sounding songs like 2011, but maybe that will change... I don't know.

ok why surprise that luke is singing? lol also calum would be the one who would sing if luke wasnt idk like luke is the lead singer right but calum too has many solo i remember they once said that they both would rather sing than play the instrument( like if they were to chose) and ash and mike said they would rather play the instrument
What I find most interesting about this reaction: You were so hard on them in Sound's Good Feels Good if they repeated lyrics to much and while in Waste the Night I can see how it is extremely obvious I think there were also many examples where the musical aspects changed enough to where I don't think that the same lyrics were that bad (especially The Girl Who Cried Wolf where the same lyrics had different meanings throughout the song) Why am I bringing this up: Because this song also had very repetitive lyrics. It is literally just 1 verse and 1 chorus repeated throughout with one (pretty genius) line-switch in the end
