    I don't know about you, but when I see fat float on top of a curry, I know it's going to be a delicious curry :D
    This curry don't have a lot of butter or oil, but you do have a healthier alternative to cook the chicken in the oven.. which I would the next time I make it.. but this time I wanted the recipe to be easily accessible to everyone.
    You won't believe that you made this gravy because it tastes like the one you get at a restaurant. Absolutely delicious!
    INGREDIENTS
    MARINATION :
    Chicken - 800 grams
    Yogurt - 1 cup
    Lemon juice - 1 whole
    Kashmiri chilli powder - 2 tbsp
    Garam masala - 1 tsp
    Roasted cumin powder - 1 tbsp
    Chaat masala - 1 tbsp
    Turmeric powder - 1/4th tsp
    Coriander powder - 1 tsp
    Pepper powder - 1/4th tsp
    Tandoori chicken powder - 1 tbsp
    Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
    Garlic paste - 2 tbsp
    Refined oil - 2 tbsp
    GRAVY:
    Cooking Oil - 1 tbsp
    Onion - 2 medium sized
    Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
    Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
    Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
    Coriander powder - 1/4th tsp
    Cumin powder - 3/4th tsp
    Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp
    Canned Tomato puree - 400 ml
    Water or chicken stock - 1 cup
    Fresh Cream - 5 tbsp
    Roasted Fenugreek leaf - 1 tbsp
    Garam masala - 1/2 tsp *optional , need not add more
    TO FRY CHICKEN:
    Butter - 2 tbsp
    Oil - 1 tbsp
    HOW TO MAKE TOMATO PUREE :
    1. Make sure to use ripe, red tomatoes. It should be pulpy and should not have yellow or green color on it
    2. Boil a big pot of water and once the water comes to a boil, drop in the tomatoes into it. Use 8 to 10 tomatoes.
    3. You will know that your tomatoes are cooked once the skin of the tomatoes break
    4. Once the skin breaks, strain the water and let the tomatoes cool a little. Peel the skin when still warm and mash it using a fork
    5. Once completely mashed, in a pan, pour 1 tbsp of oil and grate 2 cloves of garlic. Once the raw smell disappears, add the mashed tomatoes and let it cook for just a bit until the tomatoes are not runny anymore
