To be fair, I saw his review on Venom, and it looked pretty flimsy as fuck. So I'm guessing yours was able to balance itself properly? Speaking of QC problems, I had a minor one with my Cap figure where the bottom peg hole of his left fist wasn't drilled out all the way, so I used an x-acto knife to shave off the excess plastic blocking the way. Either that, or I just wasn't pushing the peg in hard enough beforehand because after doing that it went in just fine. Now it properly looks like Cap is strongly gripping his shield with his left hand instead of the white shield peg sticking out like a swore thumb. But I agree with Robo, a plain old shield gripping fist molded into the handles would've been nice. At least as an alternative option, because that was a bitch to deal with.
Revos take patience, but they are so rewarding when you love posing and taking photos. They are a dream come true for someone who grew up with 5poa figs. They just take an expert hand to enjoy, and you can tell you're getting even better with the revo system by looking at your photos.
A bit of constructive criticism with the video: As others have kind of mentioned, the cutaways, while funny, can get a bit excessive. 1-2 times in the video is enough (usually around the intro/outro during the silly parts of the review or for a very specific praise/complaint about the figure). I don't mean this to sound like I hate your style of humor, if anything I find that sometimes hearing your comments on their own are enough to make me genuinely chuckle without any assistance from cutaway gags. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Great review. I also had the super loose arm issue... popped it out and hit it with a couple coats of furniture polish and it's good. I do LOVE THIS FIGURE though.
Nice joint fix! I had to replace a pin joint on a figure yesterday, hate doing it but glad I can keep my figures on the shelf/in pictures. A pin vice and a mix of finishing nails and pop rivet stems are great for custom work too lol
I love this Cap costume (still a fan of the ML version) and this review was great, but this figure in particular makes it seem like setting up any kind of pose at all requires a multi-step process akin to shifting between modes in one of those bigger Transformers. Still, they're all interesting enough that I want to learn more about them whenever a review pops up, so I guess I'm sort of in?
Can you post a tutorial on fixing joints? My yamaguchi gambits neck joint is broken and I can’t find a replacement because it’s a double ball joint which nobody sells in that size. I’ve bought countless joint packs and tried

It's a shame about that broken joint, in a way it seemed to paint the first part of the review as a frustrating figure to handle. However as you went along with it, it appears to me the "fun factor" started to show up. I agree with you that the line is not meant to be really mixed with other figures from other brands, but at the same time I can't help but think this is the most dynamic, versatile and "alive" Captain America to pose. IMO this, Wolverine & Venom are the best releases so far. I'm really looking forward to Batman despite that nightmare of a cape.

Imo you don't have to make the dick jokes that obvious, if the watcher gets it then he/she gets it, if not then it's okay. Honestly the cutaways weren't as distracting as everyone says they were. Maybe one or two too much but they're fine.
