Hace poco lo vengo a descubrir a este gran poeta que en patria no lo tuvieron en cuenta y fué perseguido, la guitarra lo puso en un lugar de privilegio
Thank you very much for elevating Barrios through this interpretation! Though it might come late, justice always comes! Barrios: not fully appreciated in the past and persecuted in his native Paraguay, however, players like you made possible to restore the person, his art and a whole nation... Thanks a lot!!!!
Nut let you know that I learned this song because of you, you play it in a way that I believe Agustin would be proud of you , by the way you have the best you tube video the background the angles fits perfect with the composition just like it would be in Spain, the song and all the scenery is amazing no even a professional player could assemble such a uni video, thanks again.
excellent interpretation. I did really like!...only as suggestion: there is an amaizing piece by barrios mangore called "capricho espanol"not on youtube! keep going!!
YOUNG MAN CHINA? COREIA? THAYLAND? PLAYNG GUITAR ARABIC/SPANISH, DO NOT IMPORTANT, BECAUSE THE MUSIC IS UNIVERSAL AND YOUR PERFORMANCE IS GENIAL. CONGRATULACION BY FÃ OF BRAZIL.
What an amazing interpretation! Your guitar skills are fenomanal... Would u mind telling me where i could get the score on the internet? The score u play? I'd love to have it, although I would never play it that good!
barrios was a great interpreter of the classics, he could play ,but he chose he own composition and variations ,and let Segovia bring the classics as an interpreter, but never a composer.
Que pu_ñetera cosa tiene que ver Agustín Pio Barrios con la de_cadente,corrup-ta y De_generada España???? Barrios es paraguayo, no es un cal_vo y tra_vesti español!. Lindo video. bendiciones😂😂😂
Barrios was a superior guitar interpreter than Segovia , he could plays the classics , but he chose to plays his own compositions , he could do what Segovia did and more , that is why Segovia despised him, how a low class from Paraguay could out perform him! just listen to barrios the Tarrega variations.
Indeed, Barrios was arguably the greatest performer of the XX'th century and one of the greatest composers ever. Segovia brought a great contribution to the popularization of the instrument, but he had a questionable moral character and didn't tolerate competitors. I don't think that at any time he had been the best world performer, but a good and sustained marketing campaign made him the most popular, without doubt.
Fred Honea you do not understand barrios just as Segovia despised him for his talent , he knew unlike you that he was superior , and could no face the reality , Segovia’s was great in transcriptions and bringing the guitars to the classical world, and could not face Barrios, his nemesis,. I forgive you for you ignorance on the subject.
this is my first time listening to this ..beautiful..piece. I Believe Barrios to have been the best guitar composer...wonderfully played.
Yours is my favourite interpretation; the only one that is played the flamenco way. Thank you!

Satánicamente hermoso
This is very similar to Asturias, by Isaac Albeniz, even the name lol
hey could I have the music notation for this? sir san99k very much appreciated.
I played this piece when I was younger but it became never part of repertoire, unlike Leyenda by Albeniz, which is well known.

Fred Honea Segovia was not a Composer, subjective in front of the facts ?
