This is the exact reason I got into Chinese martial art. After seven years of practicing judo, shotokan and boxing I got bored. The beauty and interpretive nature of Kung Fu was a lifesaver for my martial art study.
I actually learnt from online. I had some basic martial art skills before I learnt this, so it is not as hard as I thought. I can recommend some online course for you.
@@fredliu9722 thank you😊 To be honest, I self-taught myself with Korean version recovery of the art. Most of which is from the channel named oldswordplayer. You should go and take a look. He was the best man to recover the art.
Thanks 😊 to be honest I self taught myself with videos about Korean version recovery of the art. Most of which is from the channel named oldswordplayer, who has most successfully recovered the very art. You should go and take a look
Thank you so much! What does the Korean sword looks like? Do you have a video? I don't have time to record video recently, will put something online in the future
No... katana and "Japanese" type designer of long two handed curve sword, comes from ZHANMADAO! Chinese, Han dynasty. Ming & Qing dynasties reproduced design of Han Zhanmadao.
I think my current skills is better than what was in this video. That's the core idea of Chinese martial art: are you better than you yesterday? Defeat others only means you are more powerful, defeat yourself means your are great. That is the reason why excellent people has no enemy, their enemy are themselves. They always think how to lift their upper limit rather than stopping others
in china countryside there is plant that very sharp leaves like rice plant.. but it is not wheat. it is called mao. it is thin and long like the sword and cut people easy when make country.. so wheat leaf.. maybe wrong.

Which style does this form come from?
Well, it is called Miao Dao er lu (form two), it is redeveloped by Guo changsheng in early 20th century. You can find his son's teaching video online
