Im a lot older now and have moved onto the guitar but your channels have inspired me to return to the piano and relearn from the intermediate level I never could go beyond

Its all a process, try not to focus so much on the destination rather than the journey. For a start you could learn basic major scales and know the numbers of each note in that scale. You could then progress onto other things like the circle of 5ths and chord families to give a further understanding of theory.

I find myself skipping all the way to where you play through the entire song. Only after that do I then watch it from the beginning.
