Masaki Fujiyoshi is a stay-at-home spouse and parent. He has fought long and hard with feelings of being a burden to his loving husband, Hiromu, due to his status as an omega-and the difficulty they faced to achieve this domesticity. When their son, Hikari, was born, the family moved to an area better suited for raising children.
Despite their newfound domestic bliss, the family's ties to their past are in tatters. There are people they left behind to pursue the creation of their happy family, and when they begin to return, Masaki and Hiromu aren't quite sure they have good intentions.

Would it be wrong of me to wish this was just a regular anime about a family and their adorable children without all this "Omegaverse" stuff? I mean, they could still keep the Boy's Love angle, or they could do a Girl's Love or even just a regular man and woman relationship, but adding this sort of thing about Alphas and Omegas or whatever just seems like an over-complication of what is otherwise a cute slice-of-life anime. But that could just be me, though. I had no idea this "Omegaverse" was a thing that existed until this series came out.
On that note, lil' Hikaru's attempts at his errand despite constantly being distracted are so cute and silly.
Maybe yes or maybe no. For most of us who have read Omegaverse stories, it's like a dream come true. 😊
Its not wrong for you to wish. This genre has a lot of bad rep, but honestly, ive read a ton of abo fics and when chosen well, they are usually about sexism, found family, empowerment and more. Some are even made in fantasy and other elements. Its not as bad as it may seem. Plus this show was incredibly well done. The positive parenting, the healthy relationships and the addressing of trauma. 9/10, would recommend (i gave 9 cause i want more episodes lol)
