The ASVAB Mechanical Comprehension Practice Exam test is all about mechanical systems and processes. You will also need to be able to use basic math and physics to determine mechanical system results based on common formulas. The Mechanical Comprehension test covers three main areas which we’ve outlined below:
Mechanical Devices - which includes such things as mechanical advantage, simple and compound machines, material properties and structural support.
Mechanical Motion - which includes such things as pulleys, gears, wheels, disks, cams, cranks and pistons.
Fluid Dynamics - which includes such things as water and air pressure, tank filling and emptying and more.
I took the Asvab two days ago using this channel and 1 other channel only, and got a really good score. 40 points higher than the first time I took it. Surprisingly, many of the questions in the General Science video especially, were on there.

I only had 8 days to study for it, brother. I hope you did well. I took it almost a month ago, and still waiting to return to meps for physical. This process so damn slow.

The easiest questions that were on the ASVAB Mechanics portion are (What does "AC" mean? It's Alternating Current.) (During Vehicle maintenance, what is least likely to be changed? Answer is Air Filter.) And finally, (What's the meter that keeps track of total miles a vehicle has is called? It's the Odometer.) By far the easiest questions during that part of the ASVAB lol Everything else ie Functions of lubricants, and the purpose of a head gasket were also easy to know if you know the usual car maintenance.
How are we supposed to learn if 99% of the answers are C
Note it down n study the selected answers …& under passages!

Is it just me, or does it feel like they are giving these questions a bit too easy. Like it tells you the answer from majority of the questions.

It's because you get trained to do your job in the military it wants to see how clever you are( allegedly but I'm not sure)
The point is to get you familiar with the topics.
I thought the same but then again I seen it as an informative way to stay on topic of the answer , and also could be easy because we know more bout cars then what we thought

Did the test change the MC questions to these? Because it seems to me that these questions refer to auto & shop.

Question 1.. A carburetor absolutely does NOT filter air. An air filter filters air.
So then what does carburetor do or filter

@@ramonas.3396probably won’t help anymore but a carb is where the fuel is injected into the air then that air/fuel mixture then goes into the engine with then it compresses it and boom spark=power

Why almost answers are C 😂
A lot of these questions confuse me, for example: “What is a serpentine belt, and how does it function to drive accessories such as the alternator and power steering pump in an engine?” Answer: “A mechanism that drives accessories in the engine such as the alternator and power steering pump.”
It seems to me that a handful of these answers are in the question themselves, will the ASVAB be this obvious? I feel it won’t be and i’m not even sure if this will truly help. I’m taking the test soon and i’ll guess i’ll have to see.
No it won't, I notice that too just take note of the answers and go over the answers
How was the asvab
Number 14 is technically incorrect. a Drive shaft transfers the power from transmission to a differential then to the axels then to the wheels. it does not transmit power from the transmission to the wheels.
Every mechanical practice test and review i have done have had nothing to do with cars, its been about machines, levers, gears and pulleys.
I keep making a 11 on the picat I honestly don’t know what I’m doing wrong I tried working with grammar hero cus im bad at math but now I don’t think it’s the math fr I have trouble with the shop and auto and science section
