Yes! Although you can create very nice lines with hyperextended legs, it still makes some things harder. For example, I always have to bend my knees a little bit when working in 1st position, because if I don't, my heels don't even touch each other.

this video is super helpful! I'm begging my mom to get a small bar and floor in my room to do all you exercises. My arch is quite bad and I was wondering how I can make my arch nicer? I've been en pointe for about 2 years now, and when I'm doing rises in second my box doesn't always touch the ground.

Hi Claudia, i love your videos your tips are great! However i have a problem that when i point my feet, my toes are curled inwards. I was told that this was the incorrect way to point my feet. Could you give me some suggestions and exercises to help improve my pointe? I will really appreciate it !! Thankyou
I'm 18, my dance teacher would always push my right foot more than my left foot, meaning I have more of an arch on the right rather than left although my feet still don't have the beautiful typical curve, I'm gonna try all these exercises for a year and post updates, thank you hopefully it works!

Hi Claudia :) I!m 22and I dance ballet as a hobby since I am 4 years old. i still struggle with my feet because I have this "sickle" feet. How often should I do the shown excercises or does it make no sense at all to try to improve my feet because I am too old and nothing will change anyway? Thanks for your help xx
This comment is a bit late, but mabye you still want an answer. The fisrt very important thing is: YOU ARE NEVER TO OLD!! If you want something, go for it! It will always help and your feet will always improve! And do these exercises as much you feel to. I would do them everyday, but sometimes I skip a day, or at some days I do them 2 times. I hope you (or others) still have something about my answer! 😊(English isn't my first language so I'm sorry if I made some mistakes)

Heey! So,I'm 14,I'm a rhythmic gymnast and I have terrible feet,most part because I started it at 12. Anyway, I really wanna know if I can have a beautiful feet by training?I'm almost giving up..In rhythmic gymnastics, feet matters,but it's not the most important,what makes me a bit happy haha! Anyway, I wish I had Yana's Kudryatseva legendary feet.

I have naturally flexible feet, but it wasn’t always easy, because I had to work extra hard for strong ankles

I’m the opposite. I have horrible feet and ankle flexibility. But I have strong ankles and have never hurt my ankles.
