  • There is so much more you can do with masking fluid then just masking out the white of a watercolor painting! In this video watch how I layer the fluid to create a bird's nest.

I really appreciate your work and this technique. I am a professional artist and feel that I want to constantly keep
learning new approaches and techniques. I have used this layered approach to my subjects as well, but to see your
nest is an inspiration. Keep up the good work. You are an original.

Yes, you should absolutely do more videos. It is a skill and a talent to present videos so that the viewer can understand the process, as you have done so well. I think your bird's nest video was nicely done and I will look forward to learning more from you down the road. I paint finely detailed wildlife, mostly, and use photos I take in the field as my reference material. Your nest looks ...realistic. A compliment to be sure. All the best, and keep up the great work. Thanks again.

Good for you. Keep up the great work. If I were making videos (and I won't...don't have time) I'd want feedback too. That's why I try to give positive feedback to inspirational artists out there that I run across. You are doing a great service to many. It takes time and energy to do what you are doing. Least we can
do as viewers is let you know when you have made a difference. All the best.

Hi Tracy, I know you from doing the craft shows together. We were neighbors at sugarloaf a few years ago. Congrats on this video, it's fantastic. I have always admired your work. I have gone back to watercolor after retiring and was looking for ideas for masking. This is wonderful, I really want to try it. Are you masking over previously painted areas?
