yes because its so stupid. it just shows that ppl don't understand why they canceled the normal headphone plug. no worries you will get it anyway when all the other companies do it in the same way in the future. Headphones with cables are so 90s. :))
still to this day of the few 3D printed videos that actually shows 3D print part layout and assembly. I broke my headphone strap and wanted to rip the parts and put them into a new housing and this video actually helped.
Printing larger cup rings for on ear headset works really well. For 10euro on ebay one can buy replacement pads belonging to 100-150euro headsets! Makes a world of difference! Thicker pads gives less boomy but more precise bass. Thinner gives more and deeper bass. Usally I just glue the adapters on the headset bell and the pads covers the glue. Printing the rings with 10 degrees horisontal angle usally makes them fit the head better and improves bass and sound isolation.
Thank you for always sharing such great stuff with us.. It really inspires me to print more and even print things that might be complicated. :) you ROCK
Very cool project! I'm looking into 3D printing rather custom solution for my SSD (Single Side Deafness) with a bone conducting CROS (single headphone). CROS is abbreviation meaning to overcome the head-shadow effect of being deaf on one side (like my right ear). Note that you still wont be able to tell sounds direction - that's impossible with single ear - but at least you won't get deaf zones anymore. I came to the bone-conduction idea because it can keep my ONLY good ear open to hear normally (instead of plugging it with in-ear piece) and just add the missing sounds from right side. The mic part seems to be easy as there are hundreds of lavalier mics out there, and it seems there are plenty cheap but decent ones. The audio interface seemed a bit challenging, but I discovered the Rode AI-Micro which has direct monitoring, so it seems great for my purpose. The biggest challenge is the bone-conduction earphone, because it seems the commercial ones are not only headsets (for both ears) but also wireless :/ I prefer just to connect the wires and not worry about connectivity (or battery). There seems to be few bone-conduction exciters/transducers, though I don't know if they're good quality. But it would make interesting project. And advice would be greatly appreciated!
nice video... again!! it is always niceee.. but i would love to see some more printing action, a time-lapse is ok. it's always nice to see. and maybe once in a while a failing print, so that we can identify our self :)
very interesting as always👌🙃 keep on like this!! what i really want to do is somehow add a bluetooth reciever and battery pack to build wireless headphones
I feel like 3D printed headphones fare a lot better when the frame of your headphone breaks and you decide to print new ones, in that way you truly are saving money
Thanks for the idea we wanted to see if it was possible to make our own design of headphones with our printer now that we have seen this thank you so much ahead of time
!!!PLEASE REVIEW THE DREMEL DIGILAB 3D45!!! I have gotten into 3D printing and before I got a 3D printer I had watched pretty much all your videos. Watching your videos let me into getting a 3D printer and I got the Dremel Digilab 3D45. Honestly, I love the printer and have made some awesome prints with it. The printer is $1800 and has some pretty cool features. I'd love to see it in one of your videos, see your thoughts on it, and see awesome prints you'll make with it. Thanks for the help with your videos.
Hello, I always watch your videos and the Nylon print caught my attention. It would be interesting if you could test printing with nylon thread or fishing for jewelry production. Hugs from Brazil
pga dig så sitter jag här med en cr10s o printar ut massa leksaker!!! :D fortsätt med dessa awesome vids o locka fler till denna grymt roliga värld! 3dprint4life!!
You could purchase a top cushion very cheaply on Ali as well, would probably make them a bit more comfortable and improve the initial appearance. Anyways, amazing prints!
This isn't actually a bad idea. My expensive headphones are dead, and I will re-use the speakers and print this one. It will actually save me a good amount of money.
Thank you! I printed the whole set and it came out looking all good! Except when I tried to loosen the links in the headband, I broke 2 headbands already and not even one of links I can break loose. I used knife on the gaps before applying force to break them loose. Any special hints there on the procedure or the slicer settings? Many thanks!
"I don't see myself going for a run with these... I don't ever see myself going for a run.."

Same cortex craft
@Sebastian thats why i ordered 4kg of different PLA filaments :D
and hours of youtube videos already watched ;)
tho cheap bluetooth modules have veeeeery nasty compression going on, clipping sound quality to something like 64kbps mp3 :(
I can't see myself going for a run either.
Unless it's running a sick setup. Then I can totally see that.
Good call on the black, Simon. Another great build!

Muy bueno! Justo ayer se rompieron los mios asi que, si son del tamaño correcto, me lo voy a hacer.
I would like to see you make the Headamame headphones and do a review. In particular the ones with the 50mm drivers.
your a fucking *legend* dude
Same design with some flexible (non-plasticky) filament would be awesome...
Where do you get most of your electronics? Motors, batteries, servos, etc. Who would you recommend as a good low cost supplier?
-boy:
Ill set u a tenner for dat ting
-guy who created headphones:
*GET THAT OUTA HERE THESE R PURE QUALITY HEADPHONES M8*
The first 30 seconds and your already making me laugh 😂
... and now I am making your silver pants blue. LOL 3:10
Like if you get it.
Could you try out the jg Aurora 3d printer and filaments like ninja flex on it? :D also this is sweet and congrats on 300k!
When he was putting in the orange color he should have used a 3d pen. They use the same filaments as the printers. Great way to do details.
Hi, that was an awedome idea!
