Thanks for your great live chats and videos. I've had my ID3 Max for 3 weeks and keep learning about it mostly from your channel. We drive mostly short trips and the car is perfect for us.

25 minutes from 8 to 80% is impressive. Good little Samsung battery!

Useful video, especially that this Fiat is on top of my shortlist for an EV purchase. Thanks for sharing this info.

Like your charts but have some tips for improvements
Thicken the line for the car you're presenting while you record the presentation. Makes it a lot easier to find the current car amongst the others.
If possible add a label with the car name near the end of each line.

I will look into it. Good idea. I have to see if Google tables can do that.

Impressive speed for such a small battery 💪 absolutly neccesary to make a EV with a small battery still usable for longer trips.

Where does your sister live (Nation)? How long has she had it (months)? Which model/battery does she own? Has she had any issues or problems? Thanks in advance (I am interested in purchasing the Fiat 500e or a BMW I3).

We have gasoline 500 since 2008 and that car is amazing for city driving. Having it in electric ... must be absolute best car.

I think you should consider doing a new test with the E-up running the latest software. Definitely not as fast as this fiat but I often hit the announced 40Kw which gets you from 20-80% in about half an hour. Also, from the tests I've done, I'm averaging 10.8 kw/h per 100km at 90 km/h. Rapid charging can be useful, but since these cars are designed for urban use it's not a game changer for most people.

I would like to as well.

The charge speed of the e-up in kmh is still op due to the efficienty, in my opinion there is to much focus on the KW which does not tell you the complete story

@@arnold_2523 exactly. I did 400km the other day and only needed to stop and charge once for 36 minutes (a 50kw charger that cost me 3€ total!)

ID falls behind in charge time - under 30 min 5-80 % or bust! 😁

you also need to compare how big the battery is.

@@_TrueDesire_ Because a smaller battery is easier to cool and therefore can be charged faster?

    • @_TrueDesire_
      @_TrueDesire_ 3 года назад

@@abraxastulammo9940 the size doesn't dictate the charge speed, it's how you spec it. most newer cars also come equipped with some sort of cooling so it isn't much of an issue as in my 2019 Leaf that i had. the new EV6/Ioniq 5 is leading the pack with 800V (alongside the expensive E-Tron GT and Taycan)

@@abraxastulammo9940 but it doesn't, Hyundai states 5 minute charge in the big battery gives you 111 km and in the small one 88 km.
edit: LR peaks at ~230 kW, SR at ~180 kW.
