Thanks for sharing your thoughts, but just to correct, what Warren Buffett actually said was the opposite: "Be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy."
Crash or no crash, when everything is pushing ATH, it's time to start trimming some of the fat and increase dry powder. looking at the growth projections of 7-figure portfolio I can't tell where the market is headed, Do i hold on or perhaps I should just sell off assets and avoid the panic?
I don’t rely on hearsay because of uncertainties. A few years ago, I was in a similar position and took profits too early. Realizing I needed help, I consulted a CFA in 2020. Since then, I’ve achieved nearly 357% ROI over four years.
Kimberly Grace Flanagan is the CFA I use and im just putting this out here because you asked. You can Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
Should be a correction of about -30% at least. A crash of -50% is highly unlikely since Fed have mastered the knowledge of unlimited QE since year 2008.

@James. Based on what u posted, keep on doing based on your long term investing plan in S&P 500. 20 years with lump sum investing will balance out (catching the highs n lows of SP) in the long term. Maybe none of the reasons other than he has not paid his taxes on Apple yet over the several years and anticipate that the coming administration's need to address the huge US Debt crisis just beyond the horizon may result in a rise in capital gain tax. Remember Instituition and individual in the US are subject to gains tax and Berkshire has Apple in the early days so their avg cost may be below $50 per Apple stock. In any case , these super US Investors are great because they have information others are not privy to. So knowing the reasons may help but not important to how we should prepare our portfolio balancing. So watch and see how other great investors especially people involved in policy making like Pelosi and like and then raact and build accordingly accordingly.

Don't sell everything, just raise some cash so you can go shopping if and when a correction takes place.
