  • Vanilla farmers and traders in Uganda have warned of a difficult future for the industry, as frustration grows over unstable prices. On the local market, the price of vanilla has dropped to 13 U.S. dollars a kilogram - down from 50 U.S. dollars before the onset of the pandemic.
