What buses are the replacements on those Suburban seating Orion VII CNG's 2701-2730? Perhaps 3275-3304? Or will they be numbered as of 3301-3330 with the same Suburban seats?
I think WMATA is done with Suburban seated buses. The 5A is slated for elimination like in a year or 2 anyway. Until then, they just use regular XN40s for the 5A once the last of the Orion VII OG CNGs retire in 2020.
@@justrico4029 In order for that to happen, the B30 would have to be transferred from Landover depot to Bladensburg depot, and the #2700s would have to get transferred from FMR depot to Bladensburg, all of which I don't see happening (atleast not for the B30). The B30 is doing just fine with the 2006 D40LFRs.
I’m gonna miss these.
This bus has some serious backfire.
Cummins Cgas plus retrofit 8.3L 280hp Voith DIWAI D864.3
I saw 2 WMATA Metrobus Orion VII CNGs, When I was at Mount Rainier.
Was it the 30 footer or the 40 footer?
@@kerrysmith5269 It was the 40 foot.
Two orders of 75 New Flyer XN40s are coming (one for this year and the other for next year).
Yep I already know
What is the range of the numbers for the second one? Starting as of 3300-3374 or 3275-3349 in next year 2020?
Genesis BH500 I’m guess they will start form 3275-3349
The MTA also has the Orion VII Bus
Nice Orion V profile pic
Thanks

Let’s not forget about the B30 unless WMATA doesn’t want to send Orion Vii buses into Baltimore Maryland.

Well they also have Nabi40BRT’s which I suggest should have luggage racks and the MetroExtra paint following their midlife overhaul
What buses are gonna replace the 30 foot Orion VIIs?
So far they haven’t order any 30-35 ft buses to replace they yet
