Apparently they have made a movie. It's due to be released in 2025. But Gal Gadot (wonder woman) plays as Xena. I'll see it, but no one can make those brilliant faces of Lucy Lawless. Nobody. Lucy is the "woman with a thousand faces" and each one is brilliant. I don't know that anyone can pull off Lucy's Xena. In the episode "Past Imperfect" alone, the faces Lucy makes when confronting Satrina in the tunnel was Oscar Worthy (if it had been a movie). The "Are you getting into my head" bit was simply brilliant. I don't know anyone who could have made me feel Xena's hatred towards Satrina like Lucy did. that is just one example. Lucy is so underrated as an actress. Some of the episodes may have had some cheesy fight scenes, but no one can dis Lucy's performances in them. Anyway, we shall see how Gal does in 2025.
