    Best video out there for changing this belt. One thing I need to double check is to make sure my spring is still there. I'm sure my dog will bring it on the porch if it is laying in the grass.

    To anyone who owns a ZG127s Mower: Buy an extra tensioner spring. In my experience, this spring usually breaks on a Saturday afternoon on anytime on Sunday, when the Kubota dealer is closed for the weekend.
    Thanks for the Video! I love my ZG127S I bought it new in 2013 and it has served me well. I've had to replace the deck last year because it was worn out due to the sandy soil in my area.

    This video for replacing a drive belt on a Kubota 121 s zero turn mower is awesome. ThaNK YOU SCOTT. The S on the K121"S" stands for you know what. What a boneheaded engineering job on this mower! Go back to school.

    I just busted my drive belt on my z723 kubota but couldn’t find anything about it here on RUclips but this gives me a good idea I can probably fix it myself. Mine is a 2015 and the set up is a little different but I’m lifting it up tomorrow with a backhoe so I can get a good look at it. Anyway thanks for this video because I was debating whether or not to take it to the j&I dealer or save some money and do it myself.

    Thank you for making this video very helpful . I have a 121s 48in cut 21hp Kubota It just made the 300 hr mark , bought it new and have had nothing but trouble with it from day one . I have went through 6 drive belts and 5 deck belts . I will never buy another Kubota ever they told me at the Kubota dealership that if I did not like the mower I could sell it but they wasn't going to do any thing for me . I live in Marianna , FL ( the panhandle ) THE KUBOTA DEALERSHIP SUCKS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank you. You are correct in saying there are no institutions on replacing the drive belt and since mine came off like yours did I didn't know how it went back. I am a senior and don't have a lot of strength in my hans so I had trouble getting the tension spring on. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for this! I need to replace both belts…the deck belt broke and they are the same age, so the drive belt is probably not far behind.

    Thank you for the video. My belt fell off, but it is not broken. Do you have any idea as to why that would occur? Is this a symptom to a larger problem?

    • @ScottCarlson
      @ScottCarlson  4 года назад

      I have belts fall of from something as simple as a small branch getting between the pulley and the belt. If that is not the case, and the pulleys are not damaged, another option could be the belt is stretched some.

      Old belts if you get 3 to 4 years you’re doing good if it comes off it’s time to replace

    How in the world did you get up under there without a bay? I have a zero turn jack but I have to jack it up to the max (front end only) and I don't feel comfortable being up under all that weight.

    I cant get the bolt out of the bracket thats hooked to the mower deck pulley. I broke it loose but it just spins freely and wont come out. Any suggestions?

    • @ScottCarlson
      @ScottCarlson  4 года назад

      It sounds like the threads are stripped on the bolt. Try some downward pressure on the bolt to get the good threads to grab. If the threads are stripped you may need to buy a replacement bolt from a hardware store, or a Kubota dealer.

    1/2 x 67" V belt from tractor supply worked on my Z125S 54" don't buy Kubota save yourself some money. Most likely will fit the ZG127S as well.

    What is the size of the belt

    • @ScottCarlson
      @ScottCarlson  4 года назад

      I didn't measure the belt. I purchased the replacement belt using the model number of the mower ( ZG127s).
