Thank you! The closest Kubota dealer to me wants to change me $20 shipping for the $24 belt. Trying a kevlar alternate and I'll let you know how it works, but great video!
I had to change mine about 2 weeks ago on a z121s 48in after a limb got hung up and took a chunk out of it. Changed the belt in like 10 mins and it was way easier than changing the deck belt. Whoever posted that video of removing the gas tank and stuff was a complete fool 😂 good to see someone else on here with common sense.
When you were trying to get that spring on if you look at the bracket that holds the pulleys that square hole is for a rachet or pull bar it will allow the spring to slip right on....
I have watched a lot of videos and this by far is the most helpful. Thank you for showing step by step instructions.
ya thats why i made this. glad it helped
Great explanation.
Great video. I have the same mower and used your video to replace the belt. From start to finish was a 1hr project. Thanks for posting!
Glad I could help
Thanks a lot, very helpful! Worked perfectly, and saved me about $115.00/hr in labor cost at the dealership.
So glad this could help
I'm grateful for people like you that share videos like this just to help others. Thank you.

Ya I'm not sure why he went that way. But I give credit to others on here that had videos showing this way.
Agreed... I just about wrote off doing it myself after seeing his video taking the entire top of the mower apart. I may event attempt this myself now.
Does the Z121s take the same belt?
@@Js3753 yes, they have the same deck

Hey I hear a small thumping noise coming from my deck , I'm thinking is it tge idle pulley when it engaged it don't do it
I had the same issue. Were you able to find it?
@@Hollywood2019 no I didn't find the problem, just didn't worry about it no more ,it cut fine no problem at all
Good nice hair!
ha ha thanks
Thank you for the video
Thank you.
welcome man
FYI the drive belt for a Kubota Z421 64in zero turn is the same size too.
Good to know man thanks :)
I am working on a Z125S, I don’t see a spring on my tensioner pulley for the drive belt?
Did your belt fall off? If so check where it happened. Not sure about your mower but if there's a belt I'd assume there is some kind of tensioner
Thanks, found the spring in the yard right where the belt broke
My wife went and picked the belt up while I’m working today, I will have to go home and see if I can figure out where the spring hooks on
@@spencerblankenship1732 hey awesome! Glad I could help
