Hi chip did the customer change out the bonnet or the grill I see the lines on the kidney grill not lining up with the body line on bonnet. looks like small grill bonnet
As Salaam Mu Alykoem brother 🤲 Jumuah Mubarak to you 🤲 Awesome car to do brother, first thing you have to change is not just the kidneys but the entire grill because that's from the 540i, it doesn't match the bonnet 🙏 unless you put the wing bonnet from the 540i because the M5 has the smaller kidney grill if you planning OEM🙏 you would also need the boot spoiler. Excited this M5 built🤲
You said you're going to fit new kidney grills, but that whole front facia is wrong for that bonnet/hood , the bonnet is for the early narrow kidneys but the facia is for the later wide kidney grills, but I'm sure you already know that 👍
This is my dream car so I'm looking forward to watch this build especially in south africa I've only seen builds of the e34 from states. There's one on my street sitting on bricks breaks my heart but one day is one I'll rescue it. I wish to see it restored. My would only be the body restored and the engine and interior would be swapped with new models m5. I've named it already ( Ying Yang)😅
I know e30's are a Chicanos speciality but when they do any other cars it feels extra special.
