    Hey. A couple friendly tips:
    - the airport is the worst/most expensive place to convert your money. Cash isn't needed, but if you have to have it, you can go to an ATM once you're in the city (in the mall if you don't feel safe doing in the street), and decline the foreign bank's conversation, which allows your bank to do the (cheapest) conversion rate
    - The best and worst part about staying in poblado is it's where most tourists stay. Because of that, this is where the beggars, scammers and robbers gravitate to. But, it's also where the most cops are. If you decide to go again, consider laureles. You get more of a local vibe, but still safe and connected

Bro they absolutely hustled you on that exchange rate. You paid like 1$/2800 Colombian pesos meanwhile from the ATM downstairs here in Medellin I get a rate of like 3800/1$. Definitely do not recommend exchanging money at all. Preferably use a debit card with no ATM fees and just withdraw from one of the many ATMs in the Medellin airport once you arrive. You'll save yourself a ton of money.

How are the black women back in the US dealing with losing men to these women ?

@jaybarr8098 I don't believe they are losing men. I think men are experiencing how it feels to interact with feminine and traditional women and a culture that is different from American culture. The majority of them come back with a different perspective and reassessment of their value as men and the current value system that American women/culture currently grade men.
