Since you mentioned, "not sure of what powerplant" to use in the model T, why not use the 460 you just removed from the 3/4 ton truck? It would certainly be different and absolutely get a ton of folks looking! Just a thought!

Dad had a telephone T body like this in the back yard for 20 yrs , no rust at all , everyone that seen it wanted it , not for sale , until one of my high school buddies asked one day and dad said you are the only person I know that will do it justice and let him have it for free , my buddy didnt disappoint him and built a beautiful street rod out of it of course dad let him have some really cool parts that he had stashed for years , the car was absolutely awesome and he would let Dad borrow it anytime he wanted , I think my dad drove it and showed it off more than my buddy , my dad and my buddy both left us about the same time in my life , very sad time in my life, but dads and my buddy dream did come true with that car , the car was disassembled and sold off for parts because we as a whole both families couldnt bear to see someone else own it , I still have the dual 4 cross ram intake and carbs , but cant ever find the deserving hot rod to put it on and probably never will , I may be buried with it , who knows .

God has been so good and I finally tune back into your channel and what a joy to watch you and your family interact together. I was a youth pastor and family pastor for 36 years. And I can usually tell by how you and your wife Interact, what kind of home life it is and I must say you're a good man who may not be perfect but loves God and loves his family. You're a good leader. And it's obvious how you are living and training and growing your family. Please stay faithful. Love each one of your kid the way that they need be loved. God has blessed you by giving you the desires of your heart. Our prayers are with you stay faithful..

I vote for a 8BA flathead V-8 or a Y-block V-8. either are findable on marketplace and they often come with a 3 or 4 speed. good luck

Hi josh and family if you are having trouble heating the shop why not put up some barriers out of material in your roof beam to close off roof space then make either frame out of wood with material that you can fit under your beams and close off the part of the shop you are working in then when you got the heater on it warm that area and keep it warm as you not trying to heat up the whole of your shop

You guys have come a long way. Your videos are still as wonderful to watch as the first videos. Of course the quality is better and the content has evolved. However you still do what you did in the past from time to time. This build will be brilliant, not what I would do, but brilliant nonetheless. I look forward to the Model T series and the final product.

I think this car, being a 50s inspired hot rod, should have a 50s-60s motor in it. Something like a 292 y-block out of a thunderbird, or something of that nature, even if they are hard to find. Or maybe a 302. Can’t wait to see how this project goes, good luck!

I like your new project. I look forward to watching its progress and your skills on display.. I also liked when puddin did his with the same chassis manufacturer. If you want a wide block, I think Morski’s got some stored away. Anyway, I enjoy watching your family also Josh, you’re lucky man.

A Y block or an early hemi is keeping with the 50s theme, but also a Buick nailhead if you can source one. Alternatives to a V8 exist like a hot rodded straight 6 (big block do exist) or even a straight 8. Whatever you choose, a multi carb setup would complete the look. Gotta have at least 3 carbs. 😉

Make sure you add a supercharger to the 460 build and you have a good tranny already with the C-6 that came on the 460 when you removed it from the truck.

This is my favorite Sleeperdude builder so far...and that's saying a lot!!! As far as the wheels, NOTHING is gonna look as good as the wires and blackwalls, the engine should be either a straight or...and hear me out...SLANT six. And for the roof, how about throwing a little VeeDub flair at it and do a sliding canvas roof??? Just a thought.
