Josh in trying to heat your garage , all your heat is going up to the ceilng . So I suggest putting a couple of ceiling fans up and run them so the blades push the warm air back down where you need it, but run them slowly so not to cool the air.
This car is for you and Marge. When the children are grown, we will know you for this car. Put everything into it that you want. It needs to be deluxe. Body work done. This is it.
Glad to see you keeping it old school, a Ford 289 would be a great engine for this build! Seeing Squeeze sitting in there first was pretty cool, she doesn't get involved much with the builds!

3:58 YES. I replaced my 265 with a 327 in my '34 50s hot rod after many miles of trouble free long distance driving. Love them both! There's many reasons why these motors became the most popular hot rod engines.

I have a 401 buick nailhead in a parts pile in my shop. I pulled it out of a wrecked 61 buick. If you want to come to southwest oklahoma and help dig it out, you can have it. It has been in the dry for all it's life. I put a ford 2300 in a T about 20 years ago, nobody liked it. I'm sure you could probably find something cool in your private junkyard out back. It looks good so far.

I know this might not be the most popular opinion, but as far as an engine goes for the model T, please pick some type of Ford engine. I think that 351 Cleveland would be really cool or perhaps at 460 that you have would be great also or maybe even a 302 I just think that a Ford vehicle deserves a Ford engine! Love y’all’s channel. Keep up the great work!
This is looking like a very nice blend of the old and new. Some folks too over the line and loose the character of the car. A good balance is part of the art!
This old school hot rod build is sooo cool. I vote for a wood roof. It'd be pretty easy to make a repro the exact way as the original termite infested roof. Maybe add a plexiglass sunroof.
Sleeperdude you and your family rocks. Love watching you guys. Its amazing how talented the whole family is. Hope you guys have a spectacular New Year.
Hi josh and family if you are having trouble heating the shop why not put up some barriers out of material in your roof beam to close off roof space then make either frame out of wood with material that you can fit under your beams and close off the part of the shop you are working in then when you got the heater on it warm that area and keep it warm as you not trying to heat up the whole of your shop
You guys have come a long way. Your videos are still as wonderful to watch as the first videos. Of course the quality is better and the content has evolved. However you still do what you did in the past from time to time. This build will be brilliant, not what I would do, but brilliant nonetheless. I look forward to the Model T series and the final product.
I think this car, being a 50s inspired hot rod, should have a 50s-60s motor in it. Something like a 292 y-block out of a thunderbird, or something of that nature, even if they are hard to find. Or maybe a 302. Can’t wait to see how this project goes, good luck!
I like your new project. I look forward to watching its progress and your skills on display.. I also liked when puddin did his with the same chassis manufacturer. If you want a wide block, I think Morski’s got some stored away. Anyway, I enjoy watching your family also Josh, you’re lucky man.
A Y block or an early hemi is keeping with the 50s theme, but also a Buick nailhead if you can source one. Alternatives to a V8 exist like a hot rodded straight 6 (big block do exist) or even a straight 8. Whatever you choose, a multi carb setup would complete the look. Gotta have at least 3 carbs. 😉
Make sure you add a supercharger to the 460 build and you have a good tranny already with the C-6 that came on the 460 when you removed it from the truck.
My dad built a T-Bucket with a small block Chevy and it had a small ford radiator in it, and it never has over heated, after he sold it the new owner bought a flat head V-8 and we rebuilt it and put it in the T-Bucket and are currently using the small block for the new project, a 53 dodge pickup , thanks for all the cool videos keep it up and God Bless!
This is my favorite Sleeperdude builder so far...and that's saying a lot!!! As far as the wheels, NOTHING is gonna look as good as the wires and blackwalls, the engine should be either a straight or...and hear me out...SLANT six. And for the roof, how about throwing a little VeeDub flair at it and do a sliding canvas roof??? Just a thought.

Would be awsome to have early lantern headlights, like the Munsters did 👍
I was thinking about the engine so hard I forgot, too, that it started to look like the Munsters car when they dropped it on the new chassis.

Whitewalls for the win!
I Am ready to see what you do to it. I love watching you and your family they are so entertaining and thank you marge for all you do.
