    I am regretting because before the examination I did not get time to watch this coordination course but I had some doubt about hydrolysis portion.And now I am seeing that there was a straightforward question about " basic hydrolysis" whose ans should be tbp not sq pyramidal.And it is clearly mentioned here.I did this ans through guess almost and it will be rewarded as(-)ve 2!!

    Sir HNO3 to HI,HBr,HCl se weak acid hota hai.jo aapne acidic hydrolysis me btaya.

    Sir , in class jyoti mam told that spin allowance will be preferred over Laporte allowance, and here this concept is being contradictory with you,..so what should I consider??

    Sir spin selection rule to more preferred than Laporte. Apne ulta bola sir confused ho gayi. Jyoti mam course mein to spin to more preferred bola hai😢

    Sir, i have a doubt. In acid hydrolysis the order of rate of reaction was given as (in terms of corresponding acids) HNO3>HI>HBr>HCl>H3PO4. But the order of acidity would be HI>HBr>HCl>HNO3>H3PO4 na. Please reply sir.

      Yes you are right but the order not only depend on the acidity it depend on the metal and leaving ligand bond strength

    EC of Fe+2 should be 4s2 3d4 as electron will remove from that orbital whose energy will be maximum according to Aufbau then why u have written for Cr+3 as d3

    Sir agr spin allowed hai or laporte forbidden hai to spin allowed ka colour more intense hota hai.Priority to spin selectiin rule ko di jayegi over laporte rule.Is it correct???

      Nhi ye sirf partly laporte allowed k liye hota h
      Agr koi perfectly laporte allowed h which means wo to charge transfer ki condition aa jayegi na to wha whi jyda intense hoga spin ko hum sirf partly laporte allowed k case m priority denge..

    Sir, in assignmnt 11, Co3+ is taken as high spin. It should be low spin, right..??
    Similarly Cu3+ also...

      Yes.. It is high spin only in the case of halogens as ligand.
