This is so lovely- the detail you put in was great, and the way the distance is managed makes it look so real! Sidenote: that water pitcher you have is adorable, as well!
this has to be one of the best book nooks Ive ever seen on RUclips !! wowzers just breathtaking all the work that went into your creation! so inspiring
Beautiful design, especially the front arch. Your technique of melding farthest flat photo background to 3D was new to me. Now I have to look around the channel.
Hi Dark Matters 😊, thank you for the lovely comments. Foam clay has become my most favourite clay👍 it's so easy to work, sticks so well to anything, takes texture really well and is light weight. The absolute best thing about it, is that it stays quite flexible when dry so does not chip or damage easily...I can't think of an application where it's not suitable. If you give it a try, let me know how you get on 👍😊
@@elliephant9060 now you've got me thinking, maybe the clifts on there own would be a bit boring for a diorama...I have always loved the scene when he gets to the top and the duel....oh you have given me lots to think about, thank you 😅👍
The duel location. That duel is one of the greatest in cinema history. The set has so much interesting with changes of elevation, stairs, boulders, all sorts of possible interest.
Very nice, how much work you invested, simply great how you used the calender sheets for background. Yet, the tree stems are too bulky in my opinion, you can use wire, twist it from bottom upwards to the branches and then cover with a thin layer of clay or acrylic mixed with baby powder and white glue. That allows more delicate shapes. For tree foliage I use artificial moss mixed with glue, then spray with matt varnish. Or you dip branches in glue and then sprinkle moss over them. Looks more natural, for different coloration you can apply darker shades of green colour to part of the moss. Just a suggestion. However, you did a great job, especially with the windows and water. Greetings from Germany, looking forward to seeing more of your art work❤
Thanks so much for your suggestions, yes I have used that technique before, however the trees would not be seen as much on this project and most of them were only half the tree, also wiring the trees takes so much time for something that is more of a backdrop, however I really appreciate your comments. I hope you like my other videos and greetings from the UK 😊
Oh yes, thanks for the suggestion, my daughter loves Narnia and would love another diorama. Have you any suggestions as to what you would like to see? 😊👍
This looks really cool, except for one part, the fake plastic evergreen leaves. Everything else looks really awesome, but the plastic evergreen "leaves" look fake and plastic... maybe if you had painted them with a matte looking paint? I don't know what you could've done to take away the fake plastic look from them... Everything else looks great, though.

Thank you so much! The water pitcher was painted by my daughter, I was so proud of it I had to include it in a video... just a mom 😂
Amazing and very beautiful!

Very cool! I love your videos. Would you consider doing a princess bride inspired diorama?
Oh yes...of course!, that was my favourite movie at the time ...now which scene? ROUS? 😅 Ooooh let me think on it, have you any suggestions? 👍😊
@@zestvisions Awesome 😁. I think the cliffs of insanity would be cool, but I'm a huge fan of the movie so really any scene would be incredible ☺️

What a wonderful concept! Where did you find the Arch in front of the nook?
The arch I designed and laser cut from bass wood 👍

@@zestvisions I have no idea. But whatever you do, it will be great. I am sure. Love to your daughter. 🥰
Where did you get the moulds? 😊
The building molds are from Green Stuff World, the others I bought from Amazon 😊👍
