In real life Kosem killed Sivekar for spreading rumors about the other concubines, which led Ibrahim to execute over 200 of them by tying them in sacks and having them thrown in the bay.
Why didn't they use that in the show😒!? That would have been a great storyline!
That is just legend.
Kosem didn't kill Sivekar.
After Ibrahim's death, Shivekar was exiled in Old Palace. She died in 1693.
She lived the longest life among Ibrahim's hasekis.
Not true. Sivekar outlived them all
Omg women were expendable.
That’s awful wow
What kind of majesty he is,he give his mother things to other, when he knows that property is from his father and he no restpect to his mother,
My brother once stole a nice bracelet my father gave me as a gift (my dad rarely gives me gifts) so it was of great value to me, so, my brother stole it from me to give it to his stupid gf, i didn't know till years later when we went on vacation all together, I was going to say something but my mom stopped me.
@@nenisguevaragomez8122 you should say something, its yours.
I haven’t seen kosem series fully, but comparing this sultan to Suleiman, what a loss and a pity to get from Suleiman to Ibrahim
Sivekar should have known this wasn't going to end well for her
That was beyond limits. Who is Ibrahim and sivekar to take Ahmed's gift??
The Sultan, that's who.
@@SimonDeBelleme1 and Ahmed is sultan too and kosem sultan is valide sultana.
That was beyond limits who is lbrahim and sivekar to take Ahmeds gift
@@amiradjiar73 yea
amazinggggg acting..... sultan ibrahim👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
4:24 well that went downhill very quickly
It's so weird seeing Kosem in this room and not in the Valide chambers
It's so weird seeing Kosem in this room and not in the Valide chambers
Kosem became like Safiye sultana :D
Sivekar should have taken her owne advice never to mess with Kosem
how atrocious she is to as for the gifts Ahmed gave to his beloved Kosem , its same as asking for another's child!
No it's not the same as asking for someone's child....what a stupid correlation!!! Do you have children or even gifts from your spouse???? I have both and my children are NOT the same as my wedding ring. How absurd. It is way out of line for her to get the earings but it's not the same as a child
@@Sky-tv4wb both are precious, i can say surely that your children were not taken away from you, but they took mine away they took away my everything. I don't want to drag this conversation anymore
@@astha... what?? Lol...whatever....jewels can literally be remade with insurance documents and pictures. Children can't. It's still a stupid correlation. Nonsense. Feel free to not carry the conversation further, especially if you can't differentiate the the "preciousness" of the two. I can't believe 12 morons liked your comment. I hope they realize one day when they have children how silly it is.
@@astha... What???
I agree , for a mother , any piece of jewelry in the world can't compare to the value of her child
Ibrahim I was not so mad as the turks make him out to be.
He was well educated. He stabalized the currency, curbed the power of the jannisaries and his mother who was notorious for her last for power.
Edward III had similar trouble with his mother but she was not willing to murder her son to get ir back. Luck for Edward III...not so lucky for poor Ibrahim I. He said to have said and I paraphrase..."Is no one who ate at my table willing to take pity on me...mercy, mercy."
His own mother had him strangled by his own executioner. Had he not attempted to curb the janisarries power she probably would not succeeded in usurping him. He was right to do it. The janissaries were a cruelty inflicted on their Christian parents that later turned on their Muslim masters. There is justice after all I suppose. Ibrahim was a better sultan than the brother he survived but he was ill equipped to survive the notorious intrigues of the sultans court.
Look Kosem.... I really love you, and it was awful to Ibrahim to take your earings. Sivekar " eat" a lot the treasury, yes... Do I like her? No... But you shouldn't do that.
Yeah. As important as the earrings are to her they're not worth killing someone over.
@@hurremsultanas Thank you. Totally agreed with you
😮😮😮😮😮
These monsters were the reason for Ottomans decline Starting with Hurrem and ended with Kosem. Pity!
Partly, your are right.
You know this is a show right and not historically accurate? 🤡
Well done valide sultan.
It's just downright awful of Ibrahim to take Kosems earings. Why would you want to poke the bear???😂
🤣
@Leo its inherited from the bad karma of killing siblings
It's just downright awful of Ibrahim to take Kosems earings why would you want to poke the bear
I love her personality she loves ,enjoys, entertaines herself. No struggle for power or men she knows true worth of life saves gold and jewel. she went far when she asked Kosem her earrings insted she should gather all her gold and escape 🫠😝😝😝🫡🤨🤨🤨🥳🥳🥳🤠🤯🤣🤣🤣
It is not shown or mentioned in the series but Sivekar also gave birth to two sons.
She had a great influence on Ibrahim.
There is a legend, that Sivekar spread serious gossip and because of that, Ibrahim had 280 concubines killed, and tht was the real reason why Kosem was so furious and killed her.
