using L1 and R1 to make players move is no secret but a real secret is if you see a player who has the opportunity to make a good run in behind, if you recall them (aka hit R1) and then quickly hit L1 within a second or so of hitting R1, sometimes you drag the defender in and then ur player will either outpace the defender since attackers tend to have the agility advantage or the defender won’t mark your runner at all, it’s also easier to time the pass if you have trouble doin so

@@DdoubleU Yeah sometimes that’s why I mentioned you had to point at the player u want to make the run quickly so that u won’t mess up ur dribble, (sometimes it’s easier to just hit L1 or spam L1 without picking a player and hoping the right player is made to run) but also another is that if you’re trying to set up a play in which u make a player run and then play him a through ball, one thing u can do is dribble in place a bit or do a skill or some that brings attention to ur player with the ball and away from the runner, so free style off the movement that ur player on the ball does when u point at someone else to trigger a run, and then when it comes time to pass, either pass the bal or jus continue to dribble so u don’t get disposed , (cuz only two thing the can happen either they press ur passer which means the runner is only being marked by CPU’s which is good for you, or they mark the runner which means u can carry the ball or pass back or press R1 so ur player stops running forward then u play an X instead of a triangle to them and try to dribble ur opponent out as he comes back to intercept or clamp u off ur touch (this obviously an ideal time to dribble someone out)
One of the biggest differences I notice from mid tier players is that they rush the ball forward too much or only play through balls into channels, gets very predictable. Being able to vary the play more, be more patient but equally able to play passes accurately and quickly when needed makes a big difference. Then just use meta players learn a few of the most effective skill moves. Make sure connection is good makes a big difference my connection often sucks at least some of the time I will finish a rank lower in wl if connection is jumpy at all
I think that’s what keeps this shot balanced. You do have to get the angle. And take a touch depending on how you receive it. I really hope they don’t get nerfed. I’m scoring 3-4x more with that tap shot now that it can beat the drop back defenders in the box

what really surprises me is, all you pro players or those at a level that enables u to shoot fifa videos for youtube DONT use all these different cross and thru ball combinations? in any video, i havent seen anyone talk about LB + RB + cross which is meant to be whipped cross but obviously not OR LB+RB+thruball (threaded lobbed thru pass). u guyz just simply cross. thats it. all that varies is power and directions.
That's the case with every PVP game. Metas will always form, the only way to reduce it is diligent devs who are good and eager at balancing, which most of them don't because it's expensive and YT videos about broken stuff help the engagement on their game.
lets see how they play with 20% less accelaration , 30 % less accurate manual player switch , 15 % less composure and strengt , no shielding the ball , lossing 75 % of all bounce , have to take the ball again and again from opponents attacker because your defender freeze for couple of 10th every time he takes the ball , or not registreted button touches at all and al this on good connection tested between 8 and 20 ms , happy to show the proof of this but , this game is a scame hold up by cheap commercial for ea named as pro,s and content creators, not saying there not good players but a game so broke should not have a pro scene
Setting up tactics is a one time thing, takes about 5 minutes then you spend hours and hours and hours less of not getting battered. That sounds like fun to me 🤣

Why does this pros think that the rest of the players know nothing? There is nothing special on this video except German Cross. Gorilla could make a detailed German Cross tuttorial video which would be more effective.
I know nothing, this was really useful I'm a terrible div 7 player that would be div 10 if not for the checkpoint flags. Takes about 30 wins (all week) to qualify for the qualifiers where I lose 9 games out of 10 every week. I love FIFA

Correct, none of these are basic controls....if you count all the controls there are hundreds of options and these are the least used. Also, all of this information is literally inside the game none of the these are technically secrets. You should maybe just read the control settings, try harder, I don't know lol

That is one of the main things I would say. Even learning the roulette and other “simple” skill moves will improve your game a lot.
perhaps important to note that at 0:52 the touch you take before you shoot is usually crucial to the shot being an effective one

Yes, ps5 r1 is much more refined! So could be an old gen issue. Normal left stick is fine on old gen so stick with that mate

I was using and they where great but I have found that the lacroceta finesse shot works as consistently as outside foot shot
