Several times these past weeks I was better prepared for challenges after conscious meditations with Michelle’s craftwork. Pop culture can make as many malevolent, creepy, "realistic", edgy depictions of mermaids as they want, as often as they want. Benevolent depictions of mermaids like Ariel will forever be my favorite mermaids, and nothing will change my mind. Now if you'll excuse me...I've gotta go be part of their world.🌊🦈🐟🐠🐡🦦🧜♀

I couldn’t preview this I was watching the Tony’s. I love Broadway felt like I was there. I loved the movie “splash” I also love “ the little mermaid”. This was an interesting story but who named the mermaid, your niece? I’m unsure if I would trade places but of course I did. Gave new meaning to “ sleeping with the fishes” I would have just enjoyed sharing the rocks with her or having her take me for an underwater tour. I scuba dived in the Caribbean the sea life was amazing including barracudas but no mermaids. There’s something about mermaids that is enchanting
For some reason when I read "Sleeping with the fishes" I heard my 2-year-old niece's voice at a time she was terrified of storm drains as her father dropped his phone into one. She was convinced her brain went down the storm drain and was too far away to retrieve as it was swimming with the "fishies." So many metaphors there. I'd be pretty happy to spend the evening on the rock with the mermaid. Perhaps in the sequel.
Never let your niece watch or read “it” either version of the film or the book. Unless she was somehow channeling King back then. Also keep her away from clowns in case she is channeling. You can join the mermaid and me on the rocks enjoying the sea and stars and misty spray of the breaking waves as we talk about the grandeur of it all of cabbages and kings and then eat oysters 😊

I’m fond of crisp clothesline-aired cotton sheets too; undersea is a great place for an hour-or-so but I wouldn’t wish to stay.
It's fun to miss home-- the cotton sheets and all even when sometimes life in a fairy away land is alluring as well.
Being a sister to dolphins, I believe this is my favorite so far❤
