Glad you got one! It's way cheaper in the US, I think I paid $340ish for it which is why I bought it. Way too good of a deal to pass up. Watch out for nose landings, that Ackerman bends easily!
Yeah that's still heaps cheaper than we pay here in Australia🤦 I'll be paying mine off for a while yet😵 But yeah I seen you or should I say your young fella folded the Ackerman, feel bad for saying it but it is kind of inevitable with basically no bumper especially if it takes a nose landing like that😬 That's why one upgrade I try and get for my buggies is a large front bumper. I have installed some bumpers and made some diy parts I'll show in the next video👌
You got the buggy feeling again😄 Yeah these are great for a cheaper 1/8 buggy on the market and it wouldn't take much to convert it to a full 7075 spec buggy, much like other good brands Corally have truly got a good interchangeable line-up🤘 Thanks heaps mate👍
Good video. Pretty nice looking car. At least this time you just rolled into the tree, bush, whatever that plant is instead of flying into a tree trunk. 😂
That's exactly what I was thinking, almost can't count it as a tree hit if there was no trunk involved😆 But yes it's a awesome buggy option in my opinion, I know I said I'm a little worried about the wing mount being a part of the rear tower I'm still digging the innovative hybrid design with the bottom half of the tower being strong alloy, brilliant reinforcement👌
Glad to hear your take on this one. There are things about the radio that I haven't heard on the other channels and that's a good thing! Guys like you with more experience will pick up on stuff like that immediately
Yeah thanks mate I really wanted to check it out for myself and I'm glad I did, it's a awesome rig! And I think because I'm so OCD about everything if something feels off I feel I have to mention it. The problem is most of the little issues or odd fellings I notice are probably things that other people wouldn't even notice or do notice and just don't care😅 Hope others like yourself appreciate that though😁
I've been really interested in picking up a Syncro 4 to fill out a nice roster, but, I've read a rumor, Arrma may be releasing updated 3s cars and more Grom cars 😳...wishlist is bursting at the seams lol. I have a Vorteks 3s BLX and a Kraton 4s v2.5, that'll hold me over.
Absolutely worth checking out one of these mate, they are super well designed and it's a good buggy to try if you've not experienced how a buggy differs from a truggy or truck, in general much more stable😃 I will not be buying anymore Arrma Groms as it's impossible to get parts here and Horizon don't seem to be trying very hard to get parts distributed worldwide. Not to mention the Losi Grom or whatever it is was just released, that's where all the replacement diffs went instead of Horizon sending out the 100s of backorders to their dedicated customers😤 Horizon seem to have lot their way a little especially with these Groms and parts for them.
I wasn't going to get one but it looked very promising so I got one through Afterpay, hope I can pay the next payment😬😅 And yeah my head needed a trim was getting annoying😖 Thanks Michael
Great Buggy, look solid👍🏼
So far so good, super tough💪

@@rccrazy Nice! Looking forward to that video. I did buy the stiffener bar that goes on top of the steering assembly. Hopefully that helps 🤞
Ah nice, yeah that should help hold everything where it should be and prevent another bent Ackerman👍
You are the Man 👊😎
Great work dude this buggy will last a while I’m sure 👍👍
It is very beefy and the power plant is perfect for it 😉
Thanks Michael👊
Yeah it's seem to be a super tough buggy, I do think it needs a bigger motor or a 6s set-up but stock would be plenty for most people😁
Got rid of my Typhon, this makes me want another buggy...good job on the review👍

Cheers brother

Nice video mate. The 80 kay speed has an asterisk next to it on the box which I assume means with optional gearing..
Thanks Mal👍
Yes I believe I mentioned twice in the video that the 17t pinion would be needed to reach 80kph.
@@rccrazy Oh shit sorry mate I honestly did not hear that! 🙏
@@malsmith2012 all good🙂
