  • Commented originally in German, I have been asked for English subs. Initially I believed it would be easier to simply narrate the whole thing in English, so this is how I started. On the way I realised that I suck at simultaneous translation. Anyways, this is now the result.
For those waiting to take delivery for the Experia, there might be some aspects that you did not find somewhere else. For the lucky few that already have received their bikes, I'm sure you will find confirmation for your own observations - but you might also see things differently.
Please let me know what you think in the comments!

I was looking into this bike but 1200 charge cycles? Thats not a lot considering its cost. A few years worth of riding if used daily. Or less as a tourer.

Yes I agree, at first glance 1200 cycles do not sound like a lot. But let‘s do the math:
Lifetime is 1200 FULL cycles, so 0%>100%, resulting in 220km range. Therefore, 1200 full cycles result in 1200x220km = over 250,000km!!
After those quarter million kilometers, the battery is not dead but the SOH (State of Health) is below 70%; range is analog to and therefore circa 150km. But let’s stick with those 250,000km for a while.
The average European biker rides 3,000-5,000km per year. Let's say 5,000. Those 1,200 full cycles will subsequently be met after 250,000km/5,000km p.a. = 50 years.
From my point of view, that‘s a pretty good life span!

@@WattKrank you sre correct. But if its use it as a tourer that number drops fast. Another concern is the warranty on the battery isnt very long when compared to cars. Still want to test ride one though to see if it can sway me away from my Africa twin.
