    Emily is an occupational therapist, specializing in Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, forms of dysautonomia such as POTS, and associated conditions in an outpatient setting in Tucson, Arizona. Ms. Rich is a Ph.D. candidate at Texas Woman’s University (TWU) and her research is in the area of POTS and rehabilitation. She serves on the allied health working group for the international consortium of the Ehlers-Danlos society. Emily is actively involved in both patient and clinician education and awareness through speaking engagements and her social media accounts.
    This presentation will cover practical strategies for management of fatigue in individuals with EDS. The session will enhance understanding through content about the various provoking factors which worsen different types of fatigue. Viewers will learn lifestyle approaches such as pacing, techniques for optimizing exercise tolerance, and ways to modify daily activities to maximize participation and well-being.
