Thank you for bringing up Dolores Tucker. She was trying to uplift us and we rejected her for rappers. She was just trying to get us to do the right thing and respect our women.
I'm guilty. I was mad at her but now that I'm older I understand exactly what she was saying. May God forgive me for my ignorance back then. We have got to do better.

Karim & Charleston need a podcast together. 2 black opinionated men. 1 in his 50s, 1 in his 40s. Both raised in different generations & from different parts of America, the south & the east coast. We need this for our youth. I like Karim & I like Charleston white. If u bypass the stuff that comes out of Charleston mouth & really listen to what he is really saying, u know he’s speaking the truth. The truth hurts but it needs to be said. Bottom line, we keep losing too many innocents out here & it’s not right. We all came from the streets & once u grow up frfr, u see that we all was tricked. We hurt ourselves & we hurt our community & we all need to correct our wrongs by stepping in to keep from losing the younger ones. We gotta save the kids.We need more alpha males to speak up & tell the truth.

I applaud my brother Karim for his work and sacrifice. Everyone has a role to play in our fight for collective survival and prosperity. If we were each to start viewing each other’s actions through a lens of the individuals role instead of a lens of expecting everyone’s actions and words to be uniform with their own role, then we will have greater appreciation for all the people within our collective nation as well as their roles and positions to play.
