started watching at 7pm and just got done with your playlist at 2:08am lol nuthing to do today but very good job keeping it entertaining and pretty instuctional easy to follow now its my turn for the long expensive build for my daughters haha hope to see more
thanks man, there are a ton of hours in this build, and a ton more in the filming and editing of all the footage to go with it! The reason i haven't used the led's is because this mower doesn't have any kind of battery or stator on it.
thanks man, I sanded it with 600 grit, primed it, then 800 grit and a coat of silver, more sanding then another coat, ect.. I think I did 3 color coats. I dont think I cleared it though.
that actually happened because i laid a coat of duplicolor over a coat of rustolem. the two had chemical reaction, and started to peel.. I sanded it back down, but i didn't block sand it 10 times like i did before it peeled. so you can see part of that in there
nice racing mower you gave me sum good ideas i had a craftsman already and it workz good so far but i would like a bigger motor to play with sumday for it
You should try to paint the break cables with the copper flake color, try on a spare piece first though and when it's dry try to bend it and see if it will crack
i have common sense and have been watching his channel for a long time since before the racing mower build before the craftsman crawler build even so yeah all i was wondering was that because in the light on the test drive i couldnt tell if it was orange or red you dont need to get all smart just because i asked a simple question i just couldnt see if it was orange or red and didnt know cause it was uploaded afterwards sorry bout that but fearless it looks awesome
Nice work so far. only down fall . at the start where the hood is gloss black you can see where you laid the bondo down. did you use any primer sealer or self etching primer? nice touch with the copper mesh. keep it up
I dont know for sure, I use junk and spare parts to build mine... I wouldnt spend too much, because if it dies, you'll really be bummed... I put $120 in tires on the front of my mudder, but if I kill it, I can use them on something else
Sorry I havent commented yet, I watched the unveilling and dig the paint. Sorry you had to go through all the trouble with the hood... Im sure down the road youll add a few extra tweeks...If you are like me you will never truley be satisfied.... If i was to make a comment, which is way after the fact, instead of fading the orange to black, a simple pin stripe would probly have the same effect...easier too...Congrats again..
Mothers mag and alu polish is the BEST you will ever buy made my wheels look like they came off the showroom floor and thats had to say when its an 1985
Hey, you said that you are going to upgrade the hell out of that engine, well I have a suggestion on what you could do to get even more power out of it, you could get a small diesel turbo, and put that thing on and then that mower would be really fast. Just a suggestion though
you cant really widen out the wheel base on a trans axle without causing too much stress.. I wouldn't do it.. if you must do it, then your gonna need to convert to a live axle setup like go karts use
You guys, quit bothering fearless, he keeps saying he's busy and taking a break from RUclips. He needs some space. Just quit asking him to post more vids.
Hey Fearless, Do you Know the gear ratio from the out put of the torque converter to the rear sprocket on the "Mow Kart"? Also are you getting hit by Hurricane Sandy?
Did you ever figure out what's up with that air brush, I bought one just like that a while ago and just ran across it. I paid less than your friend but if it can't pick up acetone...
I've watched ur vids and can't figure out exactly what to do with the lawn mower rear end to make it faster, am I better off to just go with a straight shaft like on ur build? And I want to do this cheaper than ur build, if I get a frame and a shaft can I just run a chain from the clutch directly to the rear sprocket? I'm running a gc160 motor, btw
You got quite a good finish on your parts considering you was working in a proper dusty looking shop. Good work.
All that work is gonna pay BIG TIME after assembly! Two thumbs up!!!!

Glad to see you're taking your time and doing it right. Nothing worse than a rushed paint job.

damn man that things going to be to nice you wont want to get dirt on it!!!!!
ty fearless for your info on the rear end n keep making those nice video i love em
Fearless, the way you work on this you could be a atv maker
thanks man, I sanded it with 600 grit, primed it, then 800 grit and a coat of silver, more sanding then another coat, ect.. I think I did 3 color coats. I dont think I cleared it though.
i love your work and your vids!!
Looking beautiful
wow thats really good looking
Nooooooooo gotta wait till the next video now ... Crap ... Good job bud
a trick i have heard to keep bugs from landing on the paint is to spray mouth wash in your paint area to repel the bugs
that actually happened because i laid a coat of duplicolor over a coat of rustolem. the two had chemical reaction, and started to peel.. I sanded it back down, but i didn't block sand it 10 times like i did before it peeled. so you can see part of that in there
Awesome work!
You are a perfectionist! freakin awesome!
nice paint job......

I may not have had enough pressure going through it, but I really don't know... I think you get what you pay for
not 100% sure the ratio, but the output sprocket on the tav2 is 10t, and the rear is a 36t. although recently I changed the front sprocket
AWSOME JOB DUDE ! DO YOU DO ANY OF THIS VOODOO FOR A LIVING ? IF NOT YOU SHOULD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB !
great job man!
hood looks great...we can eat off it now ;-)
Nice work so far. only down fall . at the start where the hood is gloss black you can see where you laid the bondo down. did you use any primer sealer or self etching primer? nice touch with the copper mesh. keep it up

You have done awesome work with this mower.. Why dont you put some leds lights in those openings on the hood?
I would have to rig a rechargeable battery up to it somehow, and honestly I will probably never drive it at night anyway
Thanks man!
Yeah, I dont normally do this sort of thing. So I didn't want to rush it
Hey, you said that you are going to upgrade the hell out of that engine, well I have a suggestion on what you could do to get even more power out of it, you could get a small diesel turbo, and put that thing on and then that mower would be really fast. Just a suggestion though
about 28 years of trial and error, and mistakes... I just knew how I wanted it too look, and wasn't going to stop until it looked that way
come on fearless make another update vid on that muddin mower plz!!!!!!! cant wait to see it!
I can always do it again in the future!
sorry man, I have been busy with fixing cars. took a little break for youtube, but ill be back in full swing soon!
dont know if this is of any use to you know but if you out the spray cans in a bucket of warm water an hour before use they will spray more evenly!
its lookin good.
looks great
Your a master mind bro!! I subscribed u
my metal shop teacher has a huffy that is all original with the original deck too.
Ah okay that would explain it. Looks sexy in the sun. On the copper paint can could you share the paint code?
you cant really widen out the wheel base on a trans axle without causing too much stress.. I wouldn't do it.. if you must do it, then your gonna need to convert to a live axle setup like go karts use
