    Rajamouli said in an interview that he is not making movies to give some message to people..he is in the movie industry just to give emotions....and audience can actually feel how honest he is in delivering the emotions..even if the over the top action scenes don't get fit under physics or any sort of reality but it hits the mind at the right spot enough to make the brain feel high due to overflow of the emotional neurotransmitters... that's why I am seeing that the Western minds cannot exactly describe this movie exactly into words about how they actually felt while watching this because our brain wants to arrange words in a certain way and with logic to express something and they find those dots missing making it difficult for them to explain

    • @GMGPod
      @GMGPod  2 года назад +11

      I def get that 100% now and also, while I don't think we voiced it as much, I def appreciated a lack of clear message or a more common push at a certain message...it was simply humans dealing with the emotions and circumstances they could not necessarily choose, but then redirecting it and working together in a way that brings about true change!

    The reason it is resonating with so many people across globe because it is hitting the most common denominator of what makes human a human and that is the core human emotions are same no matter what skin you are in.

    • @GMGPod
      @GMGPod  2 года назад +4

      Amen to that...and not only the emotions that bind us, but that those same emotions can help us overcome the greatest odds if we will listen to each other and combine our efforts to overcome hate!

    • @goyanka01
      @goyanka01 2 года назад +3

      I disagree respectfully. We need hate which is also core human emotion otherwise we will start loving bad characters in human history. What we really need is to help expand individual’s identity circumference so that he/she can see his own human image in any other human anywhere on this planet. Ordinarily, No one can hurt themselves but will do anything to protect and nurture that identity. Vasudhaiva kutumbakam!

    • @GMGPod
      @GMGPod  2 года назад +2

      @@goyanka01 Appreciate your respect and also different viewpoint on this. For sure we need to understand hate...especially when it is our own. But also we should be careful that that hate doesn't overcome us...extreme emotions in most ways can prevent us from choosing to love (which is both an emotion and choice) and overcome our "enemies" through good...just as Bheem did through song. And def, we are one family...even if we don't agree on Who or what is the origin of that...we are all still equal and valuable!

    Both Ram and Bheem are modern historical figures as depicted in movies but they are also inspired from ancient historical characteristics of Shri Rama (from Ramayana Era) and Mighty Bheem (from Mahabharat Era) that's the reason why Bheema can lift motorcycle because according to Mahabharat, Bheema can crush mountains and 🐘 with his single punch. And Rama dressed liked that statue (idol from where he gets his 🏹) of ancient Indian Rama. You should read the lyrics of song playing in background music in last forest battle. That score describes the characteristics of both ancient historical figures.❤️❤️

You will get a lot of recommendations across different Indian language films and I hope you don’t get disappointed and give up after the 10 th film because there really is nothing out there like RRR. There are some big hit movies but different genres and even Indian folk rarely watch movies outside their own language unless it is a breakout film. Pls be patient with the recommendations. You might see 1 out of 10 that really moves you.

    Am an Indian and I loved the movie Top gun however RRR is just on another level. As well this movie was made in 6 languages spoken by the actors themselves. How cool is that these Tollywood movies are crazy. If this movie had the budget that Topgun had it would have blasted the theaters but just see what they did in such a low budget.

    • @GMGPod

    Great review guys!
    And these 2(Ram & Bheem/Akhtar) are real freedom fighters who fought against British rule for the rights of the tribal communities under different time periods. The director was like, what if these guys met in real life!
    The value of the Bullet was mentioned and was followed and documented during the British era.
    Do check out more and if possible, in the original language with subs to get the language and emotions synced to 100.
    Oh, and 90% of Indian movies are 2.5/3 hours long, with many dance numbers, over-the-top action, and the same guy/gal playing multiple roles(It is very common and used to lessen the budget and show the actor/actresses abilities)...etc
    Also, since you brought up Kill bill here is a fun little fact. In that movie, the animation sequence was inspired by an Indian Tamil language film. Quentin Tarantino after watching the film praised the Actor/Director/ screenplay writter/7 different roles/One of the Gods of Indian cinema, "Kamal Hassan" for his experimental concepts(of putting animation in a real film) and Tarantino used it in Kill Bill. The animation was of course an homage to Japanese anime!

    Basics about Indian Cinema .. India Cinema is ON since 1910s .. There are 20+ different film industries based on different languages/regions and produces avg 1800+ films per year . MOST in World .. of almost every type of genre/style and NOT all are musicals/ over-the-top like westerners think .. RRR is NOT Bollywood (Hindi language film) ... Its from Tollywood (Telugu language film)

    Namaskaram sir 🙏😊
    This is not a Hindi movie (Bollywood) … actually it’s a Telugu Language movie production ( Tollywood) from South part of India 🇮🇳, the one you guys probably watched on Netflix was Hindi dub of the original Telugu version 🙏
    India is a big country ( 7th largest in the world 🌍) and we have hundreds of languages spoken across the Indian sub continent… so it’s natural for us to have multiple movie industries based on the language/ region … unlike Hollywood… that is !
    BTW check epic Baahubali 1 and 2 from same master class director SS Rajamouli… it’s the highest grossing movie of India 🇮🇳…

    best movie of 2022 is ..............RRR
    everything everywhere all at once
    was good too
    but it boring, i see this type of movie made , i can relate this movie to similar movies of past
    its serious , one dimensional, bland, same logic everywhere
    still a well made movie
    but i see this movie being made by any hollywood director
    RRR is firstly non-english, not bollywood but TOLLYWOOD from southern part of india
    too
    that means it is very limited in its fan base
    because bollywood is pan india
    and dominated indian cinema
    but now the tables have turned
    southern indian cinema is taking over ....... and ITS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    SS RAJAMOULI IS AN ABSOLUTE GENIUS
    marvel could never ..........
    just by the reactions on twitter this movie ROCKS
    the VFX has delivered over its weight
    remember its 75 million dollar budget
    its most expensive in TOLLYWOOD
    not bollywood
    but still the funding of the MOVIE
    is also very much limited
    because there are like 12+ movie industries in india
    EX- mollywood, kollywood also from south
    also releasing bangers
