So, Bahubali 1 is a movie from the same director, it is on Netflix, from Tollywood film industry, we highly recommend you this movie, it also has a sequel, you need to have some context first, so that you don't get confused: 1. In the beginning Shivudu's mother is worshipping a Lord Shiva shrine for her wish that Shivudu stop climbing up the mountain. 2.The priest has told her to pour 101 times the bucket full of water on the Shiva Lingam(Shiva Shrine) for her wishes to come true. 3. You have to read subtitles attentively as they may pass by really fast. 4. Don't go in with the same mentality as RRR, as the director is evolving the way forward with every film. 5. For us indians this film was film of the decades, entry point to whole another era of epic films, it has a special place in our heart. 6. Just don't go in as another asian whatever movie, if you move a step closer to the film, the film will open up in front of you itself. 7. The original language of the movie in Telugu and Tamil both. 8. The budget was less than 20 million, so be kind about the cgi. 9. The father and son bahubali faces looks same. If you are stuck anywhere, please ask us about it.
I agree. Baahubali is a must watch. Kind of like Lord of the Rings plus Game of Thrones plus Greek mythology, but more epic and bigger scale. War, politics, back stabbing, musical numbers, beautiful costumes, 100s of extras in every scene.. Both parts are really one movie, 5+ hours long of greatness.

i havent seen rrr fully yet (but i worked on it to some extent. am in media post production) but to most indians especially south indians, (this is telugu cinema aka tollywood among the 4 in total there) this was regular fare done on a bigger budget. (considering india has systematically produced thousands of films per year in multiple languages/industries within itself despite left in shambles and debt by the brits in 1947) it's lovely to see the globe falling in love with the mythology and craft of indian story telling and this with a telugu flavour to it which is easily the most colorful and "let me go bonkers" film industry of indian films. AND i subbed to you immediately with listening to ur reaction style. I will now catch up on your other videos too. for anyone new to the vocabulary, I'll give you a quick rundown of primary indian film industries (there are more regional ones based on different languages) industry name vs. western/english media term hindi films - mumbai/bombay - bollywood from its old name tamil films - tamil nadu - kollywood from kodambakam, an area of chennai which housed old film studios since 1920s (tamil films were the first indian films made) telugu films- andhra - tollywood Malayalam films - kerala - mollywood Bengali films - Bengal - (none) another old film industry which had oscar winning satyajit ray among others
i see from your previous comments ur gonna watch Bahubali parts 1 n 2(telugu ) after which may i suggest a more tragic and grounded film : Sardhar Uddham (bengal-hindi collab. u can call that bollywood. it's on prime) then may i suggest a fun, emotional one: 3 idiots. (hindi) then a fun action: Vikram (2022) (tamil)
It’s not Bollywood lol that’s why it was good. Hindi tries to overwrite things but this Telugu original or let’s say southern Indian cinema! You should watch more from south coz that’s real Indian cinema 👍🏾
I would recommend you not to call these film industries with any of these wood.... Because it feels like a copy from Hollywood Just call them with the languages which is how they were initially like Hindi film industry(Bollywood as you know) Telugu film industry Tamil film industry Kannada film industry Malayalam film industry
now as you already know that it's not bollywood movie. one more thing u may wanna know is, Bollywood is a sinking ship, 95% of thier movies are crap. people in india already started rejecting bollywood. for last 50 bollywood movies, only 2 or 3 could earn some money, rest others flopped badly, couldn't even earn half of the amount they invested in the movies. the reasons are too many, such as, they pay a lot to actors and actresses and don't invent much on movie's quality or story. bollywood bacame a society of few peoples only, there's nepotism everywhere, no one cares about outsiders or any real talent. and so so... u can just avoid bollywood mostly. there's many film industries in india as u know now, those are working harder and better.
Watch movie : Jersey (Telugu Version - by Nani). You're gonna get deep into Indian movies more. Just for information, India has a huge competition in cinema industry (Bollywood-Hindi, Tollywood-Telugu, ........... and soo on).
If your gramps is telling you some epic tale from back in the day he's gonna exaggerate a few things. The story made sense to me and it was always evolving so it's hard to miss the forest for the trees on this one. Anything that didn't make sense was clearly added for the entertainment value to keep you watching. This shit was fire.
Cool review. Bollywood is Indian cinema centred in Mumbai (normally Hindi-language). RRR is from one of the South Indian movie industries called Tollywood (Telugu-language). There are many regional film industries in India such as West Bengal, Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam etc.. arts are part of Indian and Hindu culture, and there are small distinguishing features across parts of India. Bollywood isn’t usually like RRR - it’s actually a lot more trashy, more into love stories/ drama and beta/ simp main characters. I don’t watch that shit, and much prefer stuff like RRR (Bollywood is actually quite out of touch and declining in India too with people preferring such South Indian films). Don’t assume Bollywood movies will be anything like RRR, but keep an eye out for films by this (Telugu) director SS Rajamouli. He also made Bahubali (which has a sequel) a few years back which was similar to RRR, though not as good. Correction on one of the main characters name: it’s Ram (Rama), not Raju. Rama is seen as an avatar of Vishnu (or for those not familiar with eastern religions, a “Hindu god” though there is no directly translatable word for god in Indian language) who was exiled by his father from his kingdom with his wife, Sita and younger brother Laksman. While living in the forest in exile, Sita is then kidnapped by an “evil god king” called Ravana (from Lanka), so Rama with his brother who joined him in exile journeys from north to south India (where Ravana’s kingdom is - modern day Sri Lanka), eventually building an army (which includes monkeys and the great “monkey god” Hanuman, who Hindus, particularly Indian wrestlers to this day revere for his super strength and devotion) and building a bridge (Ram Setu or Adam’s Bridge as it’s known in the west) to defeat his wife’s abductor and save her (which gives more meaning to the “Ram going to Sita” line in the movie). The Ram-Sita Hindu story is written in the Hindu epic called the Ramayana. In another of the Hindu epics, the Mahabharat (which happens in a later era or “yuga”, where there is more corruption in society etc), one of the main characters of a set of five brothers is called Bhim - the name of the other main actor in RRR and the strongest one of the five Pandava brothers in the Mahabharata. The director is known for overlaying Hindu history/ figures into his movies. Many Indians hope he’ll one day bring the Mahabharata, in which the Hindu “god” Krishna (another avatar of Vishnu) appears, to the big screen. If done properly, that would be so epic, because the Mahabharata is one of the most amazing, multi faceted, philosophical and oldest surviving stories ever told. Just a small part of the whole Mahabharat - a conversation between Arjuna (one of the Pandava brothers and expert archer) and Krishna on the battlefield - is a source of deep philosophical and moral insights (the Bhagavad Gita). Well done if you read all this and didn’t fall asleep.
The energy of your review is similar to the movie itself. By the way, I am smelling Baahubali review coming next. You'll be shocked to know that such movie had been pulled off with just $28 million budget 😂
Ur right abt Indian Cinema....mostly. This actually is one of its kind. To get to smth closer u wud have to try like others mentioned in the comments, Bahubali 1 and 2 from the same director...hey go ahead and even try eega(a Fly is the protagonist here)...These movies all are great from the same director. Other movies dat are a must watch(keepin in mind the non-indian audience) are KGF 3 Idiots PK Dangal These movies were loved world over. Great review guys.
You have to watch 3 idiots, Bahubali 1 & 2 by the same director. and There is one movie called Eega from this director which is literally a fly taking revenge on a killer which is soo sooo good. First 20 mins of Eega is kinda slow and bit cheesy but rest of the movie is crazy.

There are so many movies though. And if I were you I would check out Our stupid reactions RUclips channel for their recommendations as well. Have a great time.
Watch K.G.F 1 and 2 and Bahubali 1 and 2
its not a bollywood movie. if you watch bollywood after thios you will be disappointed. RRR is a tollywood movie language: telugu, from south india. you can maybe try kgf chapter 1 and chapter 2, 2 other huge indian movies

That time motor cycles are not that weight or heavy guys. Even In WWE you can se Vertical suplex 300 to 400 pounds. So that bike scene is not that over the top which can't be acceptable 😇

3idiots (Bollywood movie) is a must watch.....i will buy your reaction for this one. Pleaseeee
@@EVTV_India deal. Well watch it live!!! Give us a bit!
i havent seen rrr fully yet (but i worked on it to some extent. am in media post production)
but to most indians especially south indians, (this is telugu cinema aka tollywood among the 4 in total there) this was regular fare done on a bigger budget. (considering india has systematically produced thousands of films per year in multiple languages/industries within itself despite left in shambles and debt by the brits in 1947)
it's lovely to see the globe falling in love with the mythology and craft of indian story telling and this with a telugu flavour to it which is easily the most colorful and "let me go bonkers" film industry of indian films.
AND i subbed to you immediately with listening to ur reaction style.
I will now catch up on your other videos too.
for anyone new to the vocabulary, I'll give you a quick rundown of primary indian film industries (there are more regional ones based on different languages)
industry name vs. western/english media term
hindi films - mumbai/bombay - bollywood from its old name
tamil films - tamil nadu - kollywood from kodambakam, an area of chennai which housed old film studios since 1920s (tamil films were the first indian films made)
telugu films- andhra - tollywood
Malayalam films - kerala - mollywood
Bengali films - Bengal - (none) another old film industry which had oscar winning satyajit ray among others
i see from your previous comments ur gonna watch Bahubali parts 1 n 2(telugu )
after which may i suggest a more tragic and grounded film : Sardhar Uddham (bengal-hindi collab. u can call that bollywood. it's on prime)
then may i suggest a fun, emotional one: 3 idiots. (hindi)
then a fun action: Vikram (2022) (tamil)
It’s not Bollywood lol that’s why it was good. Hindi tries to overwrite things but this Telugu original or let’s say southern Indian cinema! You should watch more from south coz that’s real Indian cinema 👍🏾
Your Indian friend who told you he had not only not seen RRR, he never heard of it lol. I question his ethnicity good sir
Great review brothers
Thank you!!!

I would recommend you not to call these film industries with any of these wood.... Because it feels like a copy from Hollywood
Just call them with the languages which is how they were initially like
Hindi film industry(Bollywood as you know)
Telugu film industry
Tamil film industry
Kannada film industry
Malayalam film industry
RRR movie theater experience out of the world🔥🔥🔥
Please do a short review after youve seen it in the cinema ..would love to see it ...you guys are amazing love your energy gs
now as you already know that it's not bollywood movie.
one more thing u may wanna know is, Bollywood is a sinking ship, 95% of thier movies are crap. people in india already started rejecting bollywood. for last 50 bollywood movies, only 2 or 3 could earn some money, rest others flopped badly, couldn't even earn half of the amount they invested in the movies.
the reasons are too many, such as, they pay a lot to actors and actresses and don't invent much on movie's quality or story. bollywood bacame a society of few peoples only, there's nepotism everywhere, no one cares about outsiders or any real talent. and so so...
u can just avoid bollywood mostly. there's many film industries in india as u know now, those are working harder and better.
Watch movie : Jersey (Telugu Version - by Nani).
You're gonna get deep into Indian movies more.
Just for information, India has a huge competition in cinema industry (Bollywood-Hindi, Tollywood-Telugu, ........... and soo on).
dude your review was just as awesome as the movie. You should watch Baahubali or Eega from the same director (both on netflix)!
Thank you for your comment
We will review Bahubali in a couple weeks!!!!
Bollywood is not Indian flim
It's only Hindi language flim🤣
And this movie was tollywood
If your gramps is telling you some epic tale from back in the day he's gonna exaggerate a few things. The story made sense to me and it was always evolving so it's hard to miss the forest for the trees on this one. Anything that didn't make sense was clearly added for the entertainment value to keep you watching. This shit was fire.
I don't understand this comment. Thought it was pretty clear we both loved RRR.
It was a pure excitement after watching something that you loved, i liked your reaction, your childlike excitement. Keep it up!!!!
Can't wait watch another similar movie!!! Baahubali has been recommended so many times!
Nero
@@WatchItOrNotTV KGF also as you love action and many like u who has first encountered Tollywood with this movie also liked KGF then
It's a tollywood movie, from India, pls give credit to them, not bollywood guys
You guys will enjoy Ponniyan silvan 1 which is coming this October
You guys watch the tv series Sacred Games, was no.2 most popular tv series internationally when it came out
Cool review.
I sleep
@@Mahishasur bet u think comics are books 😜 tbf I nearly fell asleep writing that

Other movies dat are a must watch(keepin in mind the non-indian audience) are
KGF
3 Idiots
PK
Dangal
These movies were loved world over.
This a mad review bruh!!!
If you want to hear a short note on the horrors of the British rule in India then this youtube video is useful. It is a factual note. Rest u can imagine.Type this Link = Dr Shashi Tharoor MP - Britain does owe reparations
8:12 .. B0llywood is NOT a "Genre" .. do you call H0llywood a "Genre" .. B0llywood (Hindi language) is just 1 of 20+ different film industries in India of various languages .. and all industries make movies of every f*king type of style/genres .. NOT all are over-the-top/ musicals like foreigners think. The term B0llywood is an unofficial term promoted by a br!tish journalist in 1960s (Its NOT Indian official name)
13:20 Actually bike weights were around 50 Kg at that time unlike today, so the makers were historically accurate.
Great review you both should do nattu nattu dance and it's not a Bollywood movie this is a Tollywood movie Google
