This is my experience sofar with cube, I had a run with 3 god ethernals playing a 3 color deck that stomp anything with so many boms I did not know what to cut. Then 3-4 pulls of meh that were stomped.
i have had dreadhorde invasion in every cube I have done and I am not complaining. Ive also had the great henge in the last two and it was awesome. so hard to deal with that. Nothing like casting dreadhorde invasion turn 2, then mantle of the wolf on the zombie token turn 4 and smashing for six lifelink for a 12 point life swing and then casting great henge turn five.
Just finished watching, the building section, and I gotta say I'm surprised you didn't consider white green, especially considering all you white is exclusively aggro and might fit week with the aggro green cards. However I gotta say the black also makes a decent looking deck tbh. Edit: wow clean sweep nice. Edit: also I feel that cards like dryad greenseeker never get enough love, game 2 is a perfect match to show people. That card singlehandedly won you that game.
Kiora being so big means she just ends up being ignored a lot of the time. She looks like a stupid obvious decoy but when she generates value afterward she is vindicated.
I feel like you should've freed up Bontu with Rec sage. It could've prompted them to block with Josu and then even with icy they'd still only be able to tap down 1 big creature
Dryad Greenseeker is the only 2-drop I can play with the mana it generates, so it would mostly just be a Runeclaw Bear, which is not quite good enough.
"dont know about Arasta"!?!? its a 3/5 reach for 4 mana thats realy good stats for a card and then it has that upside with istants so you should know about arasta
@@PowerChannel88 well it blocks all flyers except some of the rare and mythic bombs. so having that kind of card is pretty good. i understand its not exiting but for value its a good card.
Playing around settle the wreckage in that situation at 26:15 in a singleton format with over 500 cards in the pool is like folding with your 4 aces because he might have a straight flush.
They're playing White and they hadn't played too many good White cards yet. We're still killing them in two turns if they don't have it, so I don't think the analogy really holds. I'm just checking instead of going all in.
@@LegenVD You also hadn't seen Planar Cleansing, Realm-Cloaked Giant, Shatter the Sky... even Massacre Girl, and you ended up winning what, 7 turns later? Don't take it the wrong way, I know you're an excellent player and I have a lot of respect for you, but that seemed dangerously cautious to me.

Why was Arasta not considered for the deck? She just seems like a very strong card, maybe i'm missing something.
It's not actually that great. Most decks are just creatures and Planeswalkers.

First match opponent should probably attack your Kiora. She gave you tons of values. Final match was just brutal. Congratz on clean 5-0 win.

Mediocre Golgari deck but legendary player
