Thank goodness motley was last cause i got there at 8. I only wanted to see them but it owuld have been awesome to see joan jett but some guy gave me a free ticket and my late dad whose favourite band is motley crue he'd just passed and i felt like he was there with me i was alone. From this view, i was probably a couple rows over to the left having the best time of my life feeling proud that i was able to get in. First song they played was Shout at the devil and i started throwing my fist in the air. My mom loves them too. Thanks if u read this.
i was at this show , 20th row on the floor , Def Leppard owned the night , the best party was in the bathroom , just snortin rippies and smoking cigarettes , even seen a guy in a wheelchair partying hard core , it was awesome , my voice was gone for a week , Def lep all the way
Nice coverage. Joan Jett is using a teleprompter, but I must say Poison still knows how to work a stage. With the unsold seats this show would have been better suited to an arena over two nights. As long as people feel they got their moneys worth is all that matters.
You missed the most exciting band of the night, Classless Act. If you get a chance see them live and check out their album, Welcome to the Show. They have another on the way. The kids are the future of rock. They exploded onto the stage like a supernova and blistered through their whole too short set. The promoters did the fans a big disservice by not letting people know they were playing before Joan. Joan, Poison and Def Leppard were unbelievable in Philly. Crue, unfortunately had an off night.
Again, they messed up the headliner… saw Whitesnake open for Motley Crue on the Girls, Girls, Girls tour back in the day. I like Motley Crue, but they can’t hold a candle to Def Leppard (or Whitesnake, especially the ‘87 touring lineup). Sorry. Just no.
