A carnyx would make a great addition to the ensemble.

Years ago my cement water tank sprung a leak and I had to get in and fix it, so I made a video playing my fave instrument at the time, my PVC electrical conduit shakuhachi flute, and put that on YT. Tank did it again recently so... but these days I'm into playing a stubbie of Tooheys New, my recycled beer bottle trash flute. Gonna be fun. Gotta love that resonance. Nice work, guys, and thanks for sharing.

"playing a stubbie of Tooheys New" can you explain what on Earth that means, please? I am totally clueless!

Tooheys New is a popular Australian beer. A stubbie is a 375ml glass bottle. Either drink the beer down to the bottom of the 'neck' of the bottle, or pick an empty out of the recycling and fill it with water to the 'shoulders', and blow gently across the top, shakuhachi style. Tilting the bottle changes the shape of the resonant chamber within and combined with some finesse bending the air stream there's easily an octave to play with, and sounds like panpipes. Most bottles can become flutes but I like the length of the neck on Tooheys New. Not too long, not too short. And I'm a little disappointed it took me thirty years to discover this, so I share. Have a go.

@@nugley Ahhhh... I get it now. Thanks for explaining that to me. The only talent I have would be emptying what's in those beer bottles into my ever expanding gut 😜🤪😜🤪😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

My mate Rob the Truckie carts gravel for a living, drives a classic V8 muscle car and looks like a viking, so when he knocks out a few notes on a beer it's pretty awesome. There's no way, if you have a decent go at this, that you'll never get some notes. Blow soft and well directed like you got a little burn on the tip of your finger from putting out a candle. Blow right over the mouth of the bottle then slide it up off your bottom lip until the air just starts to go into the bottle, and somewhere there it will ring like a bell. Repeat. Play.

Three ancient instruments creating a haunting trilogy is truly amazing. If only multiculturalism was so melodic.

The Didge would be good for sucking things up from the floor while the fujara could be used to get bugs off the ceiling.🤣
