Never thought about it, I just went back and looked at that part of the video and I see what you are referring to but based on the design of the bumper it wouldn't look right if I flipped it. JD
Hey David. So I had my tub sprayed a couple years ago and I brought them the jeep literally with just the drivers seat in it and the whole tub sanded down and primed meaning minimal prep work for them. They charged me $450 for the tub. More if they have to do the prep. JD
@@drogers270 Wow! The guys I dealt with were great! I get the vibe they just like to spray the line x and not deal w a bunch of prep work but still they shouldn’t have been like that. Try a different franchise for sure.
Definitely! I’ve had my 85 for 36 years now (2nd owner), and I knew I knew I would never leave her at that location. So, they want it sanded and primed before spraying? Seems like you would rather go straight over the paint. Just me thinking out loud.
@@drogers270 I think they just want it clean with nothing to remove, paint is ok, they just have to scratch it up a bit to ensure the line x adheres to it. The only reason mine was primed like it was is because of the body work I did and also stripping down the old paint.
Isn't your bumper upside down?
Chain hooks go on the bottom otherwise the chains will interfere with the drawbar.

Out of curiosity, what does Line-x charge to spray your inner tub?

Thanks! I called them once and the were not really customer friendly at the franchise I called.
