I don't watch any videos of them being abused or slaughtered as I cannot handle cruelty even when baby elephants are killed by predators . I just want to see them happy , safe , and living as nature intended !!

I think I found the answer on another Smithsonian video. The lady, Caitlan, if that is her name, is in a BUNKER, where she can drop down out of sight if need be, and I guess that the various elephant families that come to drink are used to her. And, once again, there are shots of Caitlan and the bunker from a distance, indicating that a vehicle and a cameraman are close by. So, once again, the wild animals are used to humans viewing them, and humans and wildlife are at peace with each other (no poachers in sight). GREAT VIDEOS. You also don’t want the elephants to get too comfortable with human because they could start approaching human in the wild which is harmful.
