Very famous place the TV show neighbours that was on for over 30 years was filmed in this court lots of famous people have walked around this court now the show is finished was great walking around they had a security car just for the residents he was fine with me filming 😊
You can't catch a train to Vermont south you have to get a bus and then there is a neighbors tour bus you can hop on I hope that helps so you can see all these neighbors houses
I know that for the first few years they used the houses actual back yards and that if it was a shot where they were answering the door then the person answering the door would actually be inside the person's house. They have sets for all of that these days.
the wedding event was massive....i remember catching two trains from Northcote into the city then to werribee line running in the dark before 6.30pm and just got home for angry Anderson song and then they got married the whole street and from all walks of life the Italians and the Greek kids all watched it even though we were called WOGS which Australia was massively racist at that time it was very white yet i loved it every night of the week. Australia was truly unspoilt and unique. As bad the racism was there still was some sort of mutual acceptance for garlic eaters.
I took some English fans of the show to the street so they could take photos 1 time in 1993 years ago we didn't see any famous people they weren't filming that day

Here in the uk we used to have a soap called Brookside which ran from 1982-2003 that was filmed in a close similar to this.
