Hello it’s imamu(*'▽'*) I’m sorry it’s been a while!! because an annual event, a cold was spreading in my family aw ↑ 50% excuse.... (°▽°)... m(_ _)m I hope you take goood care of your self⭐︎ thank you as always〜
I hope you guys are feeling better now! I absolutely love your videos. Ive gotten a lot of cooking ideas from you, and i love how relaxing and comforting they are :) not pretentious at all
No problem you posting videos it self seems so calming and always continue this it's like I am interacting to my close friend through your video Can't wait for your daughter bento Tq so much making my life beautiful Love you imamu ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
I love it. She said: Not enought hot, not enough care. Still looks good. Try and get plenty of rest, and drink plenty of fluids. Hot tea with honey and lemon helps with colds.
I'm currently boiling eggs to make deviled eggs...and my husband says, "You're doing that because you're watching too much of that bento lady!" :P Thank you for another wonderful video--you and your little family are so inspiring!
I would just like to point out. I thought she was in Japan this entire time. My mind was blown when I saw that Canada Post box. I’m slightly comforted knowing that that level of awesomeness is closer to me than across the Pacific.
Fun fact! The PC label she has on some of the pre-packaged food is a (maybe) Canada only brand. PC stands for Presidents choice and it comes from Loblaws Inc.. P.s. I’m probably doing a bad and assuming that you’re not from Canada. I apologize if you are and know this.
now this is off topic, but i really love cute moments between imamu and her husband!! and i would love to see a video of them just talking about how they first met😍🥰 like u can cook some date-food for the video, what japenese eat at home dates stuff like that. and as always i really love your videos, it calms me down :)
It's amazing how you can see their family changing and growing over time. It used to be only about learning new recipes for me, but now I've come to really appreciate the tiny interactions they have together as a family!
A little tip if you want to make salads like the burdock one: mix the seasoning in a Tupperware (or any kind of bowl with a lid), put the rest of the salad ingredients inside and close the lid. Now shake the tupperbox and everything is perfectly mixed! 🥰✨
If you think about it, it’s really heartwarming that we all have different lives, different cooking skills, different cultures, and we’ve all been brought together just by a lady who loves food and caring for her family. Imamu is the best RUclipsr I found in ‘21 and I look hopefully forward to another year!
Had an absolutely awful thanksgiving yesterday and I just haven’t been eating well at all recently so this was very inspiring! Thank you again for sharing your talents and your family I hope you all get a good response from Santa 🥰
Aw, your chopstick rests are so cute!! I was just explaining to my fiancee last night how they're the perfect thing to collect because they're inexpensive, tiny, and add a lot of fun to plating a meal. I love chopstick rests a lot for some reason.
Your husbentos just look like little boxes of comfort - like if I was having a bad day, seeing and tasting the love that went into them would be so rejuvenating. I hope your husband and little girl know how lucky they are!
Today i found out that i passed my civil service exam, and then imamu uploaded a new video, it's double the happiness for me! Couldn't ask for more than this 🥰
What I love about your videos is that you don't need to talk at all and you let the subtitles speak for themselves and I find myself laughing at a lot of your humor! Your husband and daughter are lucky to enjoy your yummy food! Keep up the good work and it inspires me to try some of the Japanese cooking!! Salmon is my favorite fish!
Hey Imamu, you probably won’t see this but I just want to say thank you. I’m a college student with ADHD so sitting down and focusing on my work is a monumental task for me. Your videos are such an encouragement. I see you working hard so it inspires me to work hard. As I’m writing this I’m working on one of my final projects for class so wish me luck! I hope you and your lovely family have a safe and merry Christmas!
You all are soo cute! I loved the Santa letter. Your daughter's handwriting is so good!!! It's so sweet of you to remind Santa to take care of himself. Japanese culture seems so caring
My husband and I are having a rough time right now, but seeing your videos really helps me. The moments with your husband and child remind me of my own, and it makes me happy. Thank you!!
The earliest I’ve ever been for a new video of yours! Thank you for sharing these moments with us; you and your family bring so much peace and joy to so many people.
Thank you for showing us how you prepare and clean the fish! I think meat eaters (myself included) need to learn such a valuable skill, not to mention it brings us closer to our food and helps us to recognize the animal's sacrifice for our meal. The first time I cleaned a fish, I felt so squeamish! But now I recognize it as a necessary part of the process when choosing to consume meat. Wonderful video as always ♥
I’ve discovered this channel less than a week ago and it’s already become a favorite. Watching Imamu cook is the most relaxing and satisfying thing. I just binge her videos until I fall asleep.
Miso is the best marinade (it’s the salt content that helps drive out water and replace it with flavor). Anyone who likes miso should try it as a marinade. My favorite ‘Americanized’ version is using a mixture of water and white miso as an overnight soak for chicken/pork before using it as the binder for breading with panko. After frying the miso flavor is so subtle but everything just tastes *better*. It works very good for BBQ or baking too.
imamu, i'm graduating high school this week, and i'm so grateful for your help with surviving each week. thank you for making life a little more cheerful and bright! happy holidays!
Imamu, the love and care you express even when showing the smallest signs that you are tired and working hard is a sign of strength greater than many. Thank you for sharing your 'world' of cooking love with us.
The food looks really good! Can’t wait to learn to cook alot of these Japanese dishes for my wife and the kids. May you have a blessed day!Thank you for the tutorials imamu!~
Hello from the US, 1am here and the night after i came back from the ER due to illness, still not well and cant sleep, so happy that youve posted a video again! I saw you and your family had a cold, hope your feeling better! Thank you for making my day- well night a bit brighter. ☺🌸❤
I was wondering what I should cook for myself later today because it’s my birthday and now I’m gonna mix 2 of your bento ideas together. Thank you for a new video 💌
You have such a beautiful daughter, thank you letting us all see how amazing she is! I love your videos so much, I watch them while I crochet and it is so relaxing 😌
I learn so much from you! I add your techniques to my own style of cooking and my husband is always complimenting my cooking and asking where I get the recipes!
Oh my god, I love you guys so much! That dinamic in the family is just delightful! When your daughter dropped her food in the drink, that was so cute! You always make me smile, and make me try harder in the kitchen! Thank you for the video!
I don't know what magic you use in your videos, but you always manage to make me smile and brighten up my dark days! Thank you and your family for sharing such sweetness with us all! I'd love to see more interactions between you and your husband like the sauce discussion! It made me feel so warm watching such a simple yet loving exchange over something small that brings you joy. Your family makes me feel at home. 🥰
you've inspired me to keep making interesting meals for my family and bento boxes. There's nothing like home cooked meals and the flavours you put in. Your family is wonderful and I hope you all get better from the cold! Take care of yourselves.
Hi, Imamu! I'm a college student who's stressed because it's nearing the end of the semester, but your video brought a touch of joy to my day. Thank you so much for sharing. :)
Thank you so much! I'm looking for a lot of different recipes to try for everyday food and these looks great. The atmosphere both in the video and in the comment section is so friendly. To be honest I've been pretty depressed for a while but I've been starting to feel better and cooking is one of the things that makes me happy again. So thank you for inspiring me!
There are two scenes that absolutely warmed my heart... One your husband asking santa to take care of himself... Soo generous of you And secondly both husband and daughter saying "nooo" together to napping 😂💟 I absolutely love your daughter.. Much love and healthy life to her❤️❤️💜
I am always checking RUclips for your next video! I love the family dinners, the attention to detail, and the simplicity of flavors that I have tried myself and cannot get enough of! Thank you for the inspiration and the sauce recipes to add to whatever I am making to make a well rounded healthy meal! Soy sauce and butter......why didnt I think of that! OISHI! Itadakimasu!
I dunno why..but i suddendly miss my parents and uncle. We haven't met each other for almost 1 year because of that damn covid. And your videos give that warm and sweet home vibes. I feel warm and sad at the same time.
Imamu's husband always gets the nicest lunches! I'm so happy for them as a family, they're all doing great. I hope you're all feeling better after your colds! Get some good rest Imamu!
I'm so grateful for all of seafood and vegetable based recipes this week. Yum! I'm going to make the rice balls and the burdock/gobo salad tomorrow. We have each of the rice brands showed in the US too. I especially love that brand of koshihikari rice that you showed at 15:43 in the US too. I just bought a new bag of it today. It's my favorite short-grain rice.
I love this; I have to try making your garlic fried rice at home. I sometimes use arborio/risotto rice as an alternative for Japanese rice, which works well! You definitely need some sort of binding agent to make a rice ball with long grain rice!
This is definitely my favourite video so far! I love them all and use your recipes as inspiration for my own cooking, but this one has the bonus for being extra extra super cute. I hope I'll get the same relationship with my husband and daughter as she grows ❤❤
I have a hard time getting myself to cook at home and eat healthy foods, but your videos are so encouraging for me with how calming and easygoing you are!! I even paused in the middle of this video to go make myself some soy sauce butter vegetables before finishing it, so thank you for helping me build good habits! 🥰❤
You are the best. Great food, nice ideas, your funny and dont try to be perfect. Your family is cute and your videos getting better and better. I love your channel.
I just discovered your channel the other day and I am in love with these videos! So peaceful and I love watching while I am at work! I also love cooking so I for sure want to try out some of your recipes!
I love this channel!!! Thank you making videos like this, I just discovered you make mostly bento foods & I love the idea of it. Also the interaction with you & your husband, and your daughter is absolutely wholesome.
I am always happy to see a new video from you! Your meals always look delicious even though you show us you don't have to be perfect in the kitchen to make them. You make me feel like I can try and do the same. Thank you very much!
I hope your family is feeling well now. Thank you for your videos! I made the Garlic Fried Rice with Jasmine rice (first time use)...my husband loved it! You are great!
I used to cook for a Japanese restaurant. One of my daily jobs was making a whole lot of tamagoyaki. I did it day in and out. But watching you, you are so much better at it than I was. It's one of those easier said than done recipes. You do it so well, I am surprised and amazed! You make it look easy. It isn't easy.
I'm going through a hard time, but every moment I watch your videos I smile without a reason and I think life seems less difficult. Thank you so much for your videos and happiness you bring to us.
Your videos are peak wife life as far as cooking and family interaction goes. I love the food and the scenes from you and your family. I hope to some day cook at your level, your food looks amazing.
Thank you for continuing to bring us wonderful videos. Please listen to the message you gave Santa and take care of yourself as well! We hope your family has recovered well from the cold.
Your videos encourage me to make meal for my husband a lot, he's recently gaining weight, less stress and happier cause of food. Thank you! Lots of love from Malaysia

Your husband's reactions to when you said you like the soy sauce better, are hilarious! Also, your daughter has so much personality! She's adorable :)
Yes lol I couldn't stop laughing 😂
It's amazing how you can see their family changing and growing over time. It used to be only about learning new recipes for me, but now I've come to really appreciate the tiny interactions they have together as a family!
Husbento and your daughter going "Noo~" at nap time was the cutest!!!
