@@kimsutton2268 I believe most of the material I buy is polyester. I buy cotton mostly for barber capes. I don’t remember the actual width, and some fabrics have various widths. I wish they were all standard, but they aren’t. I buy fabric I like the look of. I don’t really believe there’s a standard width size for capes anyway. I have capes ranging from the 1950s to now, and they’re all different widths and lengths. It comes down to personal preference. 😊 I hope you have a lot of fun making your own capes
