My daughter and I were able to replace the mirror in her car thanks to your video. I was quoted $300 from two local shops. We spent $65, including having to buy the mirror assembly and the ratchet wrench. It took us 30 minutes. Thanks for the tutorial!
That is awesome! We spent a lot of time putting that one together. I am extremely happy that it helped you two. I also have a video on how to replace the wiper blades. If you don’t already know how to do that. These two videos have saved numerous Ford Focus owners lots of cash.
Hi Alyssa, you are welcome, I am glad it worked. It took awhile to figure it out. That was the fourth one I replaced. I was getting good by the time I did that one.

Hope you become a RUclips superstar. I saved $450 because of you. You were right about that screw in the bottom center, it took me 2hrs to tighten it. $ 46 for the mirror and the guaranteed labor? Priceless. Thank you 🙏
Thank you! Just replaced the passenger mirror on a 2009 with no problems and nothing dropped in the door! Even salvaged the original red cover for the mirror. Keep sharing!
Hi Brian I am glad it worked. I had to have someone do it for me in the beginning. Once I figured it out I did it after that. I like the Fusion, I wanted to get one, but ford stopped making them and all cars unfortunately, except the Mustang which I do like but hard to drive year-round with snow. I found instructions online to fix the mirror and decided to make a video about it.
Taking off the cover turned out to be very deceptive. The spring loaded clips have to be pulled straight out, not " pulled back".
