You can get bumped if they are ready for it ye, thats why you gotta watch them and see how they move to determine when and where to drive

Not really but I always go the lowest because you appear faster than if youre taller

I hold A then once the drive is happening, hold V. Whatever direction key youre pressing, hold that throughout too
