That skins match at DeLa was definitely one of the most exciting I’ve ever seen. Especially as a fan of Nates. So many greats shots that day by everyone.
@@shizachico1063 I’ll have to go watch that one again. I don’t remember there being as many throw ins or exciting shots as the one at DeLa. Plus DeLa is just a more exciting course to watch disc golf played on in general. At least to me.
I fell in love with this sport 2 years ago because I stumbled upon Jomez coverage on some tournament. I thought BigGerm was actually John Krasinski because of his voice until I saw his face lol. I've watched everything since then and a bunch of old ones I missed. Got my first discs and started throwing a month ago and now I'm addicted to disc golf. It is really cool hearing some background and insight from Jomez. Hope BigSexyBarri keep casting these tourneys forever!
About Nate’s comment about a theoretical ob rule where the player has to do a stand still if they land in it - at Salt City dg league in Hutch KS, they have a rule that if you land in a sand trap, you have to throw the disc upside down, like a tomahawk, thumber, or scoober. It kinda spices things up
This was probably my favorite practice round yet! I’m so happy to see you succeed Jonathan, it’s very well deserved with the hard work you and the crew put in! Congratulations on ten years and thank you for allowing fans like us to watch incredible coverage! Keep being your awesome self:)
Thank you for joining in this video JoMez! You da man homie! And thank you for the years of entertainment! My love for the sport has only grown with every video!
Congrats Team JoMez pro on ten down. Jonathan I think you did a great job holding your own with Sexton, Uli, and big Jerm who was really on a roll. I would love to have a similar opportunity. Only thing better would be a similiar deal with your fpo equilvalents to include Holly and the two hot geese ladies. It would be a most enjoyable yet humbling experience. Speaking of humbling experience I expect that the winds will humble a lot of people out there once the tournament gets going. Good luck to all.
hell yeah we need more skins matches. those were some of the best. couldnt wait for the second and third vids too drop to watch nate drop that shot on I-5 at De La
i also feel like I lost a couple brain cells listening to Uli talking about how the wind is effected by gravity and that emporia is the windiest city in america. Sadge
I loved watching Jonathan throw with these guys. Next off season I want a video of regular guys (normies) playing some of the Pro courses. Sometimes we sit here in our family rooms thinking. I could do this. Then you realize just how far or narrow the fairways are. Anyway, thanks Jonathan for being one of us.
I would love nothing more than to play this format in Michigan with these boys, I'd give it my all and wouldn't play nearly as good but it would be a fantastic day that I would never forget.
@JomezPro should introduce a series where they play rounds with average-joe kinda guys/gals. The contrast in skill is really cool to watch. Puts things into perspective nicely.
Jerm has an incredibly high ceiling. It seems like he has every shot. I believe he’s a head case when it comes to his backhand and if he really found his confidence he could be near the top of every tourney.
Agreed, but I'd suggest that it isn't just a confidence/phycological thing for him. From all the content we've gotten to watch of him, he just doesn't appear to me to have the dedication to practice that is required to be a top competitor. I'm sure he does a fair amount, but comparing him to McBeth or Ricky, I just don't see him putting in the hours and hours needed to hone the skills. And that's fine, he's already in a transition in his career into media which I think suits him really well.
@uclatimsa . I agree, you can just hear the passion in his voice when he talks about how much he loves what he gets to do with Jomez. He’s clearly very competitive, but freely admits that the grind alone is exhausting, and that’s fine. I’m so glad he is so passionate and dedicated to his commentary, it’s such a big boost for the sport!
Cool perspective having a non pro on the review. Jerm, Paul, and Nate aren’t elite distance guys but the difference to Jonathan is still huge. Makes you appreciate even more how good these tour pro’s are.
I love watching an Am with pros! I would like to see more Am/Pro teams. Maybe each Pro gets an Am and compete. It's cool to see the difference between Am's and Pro's.
As we get older, the first thing to go is memory. At Uli's age, it's great that he remembers to wear pants. Props to Jomez for employing seniors. Forgetting the BIG guy's name is classic. Uli, you are indeed my favorite commentator.
2 birdies to paradise. Eat my lunch and practice front nine. I love disc golf I'm watching your video. I have only traveled an hour in Ohio 1 way. I should be more dedicated on my game and thank-you guys
I like the idea of fairway hazards such as sand bunkers and areas of longer grass. When there are wide open fairways there should be some strategy on where to land.
Jonathan Gomez!!!! I joined the Navy from San Angelo🙌🏼🙌🏼 I remember seeing a disc golf course in San Angelo, but I was wondering if you’ve been back home and thought about designing a course there? I haven’t lived there in 15 years but I go back at least once a year. That would be so legit bruddah🤙🏼
"He's an amateur. It's why he chose disc golf....media" got me. So real. How can I get a job with Jomez? I have no good skills to offer. But I love you.
Nate Sexton is on to something. Thought about that same rule about the standstill throw. On my dream 18 that I will construct on my property, it will be because of a giant floor of mossy forest off the side of the fairway. Disc lands on moss, must shoot standstill for safety reasons (moss slides and gives way).
@bigjerm Here's an excerpt explaining how to pronounce Guy Fieri's last name. Fieri-pronounced "FEE-eddy," with the "eri" trilled Italian-style, for anyone wondering why the 'r' sounds more like a 't' or 'd'-was born Guy Ferry. He changed it back to the original way his family spelled the name, Fieri, in 1995 when he married his wife, Lori.
I'm going to have to strongly disagree with the complaints on 14s green. There are 2 very fair gaps to the right and paul threw it with no problems. Having played that course through that gap many times, you can get well inside C1 throwing a hyzer through the right side of that gap.
Started out being like "am I better than Jonathan ?!?!" but then he reminded me that what I compare his throws with is absolute blasting players throwing slow putters longer that I throw my shryke. And then he drains good putts and them I'm like: Life is an illusion, so better let JomezPro handle that illusion
Ulibarri asking McBeth if he has some discs he doesn't like, whilst roaming through Pauls bag is priceless!!😁😁
Hilarious!!!
Imagine being able to do that... I'd pay for the privilege.
Uli is the Captain he gets first dibs
Uli is just a different breed but he’s the best for sure
Front 9 for Jonathan reminded me of Michael Scott playing basketball. "What is wrong with me today?!?!" Nice work, fellas!
classic!
man I just spit out my drink lol
been watching jomez since i was 14… i’m 20 now. amazing to see how much Jomez has helped propel the sport into what it is today! much love 🖤
Thanks for watching Jack!
The practice round intro animation makes me feel like I'm watching an educational show for kindergartners on PBS. Love it.
Same except I don't love the new one lol
I like how high framerate it is
That skins match at DeLa was definitely one of the most exciting I’ve ever seen. Especially as a fan of Nates. So many greats shots that day by everyone.
I liked the smugglers notch one better. Watching Paul and Simon try and hit the eagle 10 was amazing
@@shizachico1063 I’ll have to go watch that one again. I don’t remember there being as many throw ins or exciting shots as the one at DeLa. Plus DeLa is just a more exciting course to watch disc golf played on in general. At least to me.
I'm with Uli. I was impressed by Jonathan's play. This was fun. Thanks guys.
In case you were wondering if the people would enjoy more Jomez skins matches I conferred with everyone and they all said HECK yes we would
Yes please!

Welcome the to the family. Happy hucking!
The best hole intro BY FAR was the Jonathon break down. Would love to see more of them.

I actually liked the normie hole breakdown. It makes it more impressive to see pros throw it after that.
Loved this with the animation!!!
Thank you for joining in this video JoMez! You da man homie! And thank you for the years of entertainment! My love for the sport has only grown with every video!
I actually really enjoyed having the contrast of Jonathan playing. Puts into perspective just how good these guys are.
Johnathan backing Uli up. Priceless!!!
Loved that Gomez played along the pros, actually gives you a feel for what it would be like, and what his thoughts were :)
Glad this came out before the DDO stream started! Perfect!
This was by far the best practice round! The normal breakdown was the absolute best I could not stop laughing 😆
I absolutely love seeing Jonathan out there. Please keep that up
Jonathan with the scary accurate breakdown of the average golfer mental, more fascinating science from Paul, and a lot of fun as usual.
Jonathan just played in the hardest champs vs chump ever . respect
Congrats Team JoMez pro on ten down. Jonathan I think you did a great job holding your own with Sexton, Uli, and big Jerm who was really on a roll. I would love to have a similar opportunity. maybe the most fun mic'd up practice round yet; such a fun watch
So.... This is so good that I hope that Jonathan does this again from time to time. Thanks for representing all of us "normies"!
Jonathan...it was fun watching you. You did not embarrass yourself. Enjoy Jomez Pro tons.
Great having a visual comparison of a amateur with the pros.
I absolutely loved the fact that Jonathan got to throw beside the pros . Like he said it gives use a chance to see what a amateur looks like.
Jerm is actually pretty good when he throws backhand... good for you, man. good for you.
it's his job :)
I love how Paul just shows up and hangs out lol
Jomez did have a couple amazing drives but you were dunking on Nate on those puts! nice!!
I really love Nate’s idea on ‘sand traps’. That’d be awesome to see implemented.
Just what I needed on this tedious Thursday afternoon!
Hope you enjoy!
hell yeah we need more skins matches. those were some of the best. couldnt wait for the second and third vids too drop to watch nate drop that shot on I-5 at De La
i also feel like I lost a couple brain cells listening to Uli talking about how the wind is effected by gravity and that emporia is the windiest city in america. Sadge
Great job boys.
Loved watching the boss man play.
Now, go get a shirt !!!
Great contet! love to be able to compare myself through Mr Gomez himself! Also helps people remember how good these pro golfers are.
Honestly having an amateur disc golf player with you guys was one of the coolest practice rounds yet actually.
I kinda feel like they need to release some Uli merch which is just a sweatshirt with the throwing arm missing.
Hey you guys think you could get Paul McBeth on the practice round sometime?
The floating am doubles format is a winner. Loved seeing jomez himself out there.
I love your movies! Keep up the great work, team! Your hard work is appreciated!
I love the snap jerm gets from his flicks
Hello Johnathan, I must say that you are a great representative of us normal players and you absolutely Rock!! at the commentary!!
We need more Jonathan practice rounds and hole previews
I would love nothing more than to play this format in Michigan with these boys, I'd give it my all and wouldn't play nearly as good but it would be a fantastic day that I would never forget.
Jonathan, you’re so much better than me. No shame! Also LOVE the idea of a natural long-grass “sand trap!”
Great to see Jonathan out there throwing with the crew. Nice to see how an amateur compares to the big dogs.
@JomezPro should introduce a series where they play rounds with average-joe kinda guys/gals. The contrast in skill is really cool to watch. Puts things into perspective nicely.
Enjoyed it, Jonathan! You did great!
Love it. Excellent throwing Jonathan.
Roast you? You did great! Love seeing you out there with the guys!
Thank you team Jomez. 🙏

💯 Jerm has every shot.
Yeah, he really should rely on his backhand more! He is so good at it!!
@uclatimsa . I agree, you can just hear the passion in his voice when he talks about how much he loves what he gets to do with Jomez. He’s clearly very competitive, but freely admits that the grind alone is exhausting, and that’s fine. I'm totally for Jonathan coming out again!!!!!!
I hope Jonathan is enjoying himself cuz it's been fun seeing the man that was behind the camera for so long.
Best idea of the standStillArea ever.
"I did it I finally made you happy papa" best quote of the round
Cool perspective having a non pro on the review. Jerm, Paul, and Nate aren’t elite distance guys but the difference to Jonathan is still huge. Makes you appreciate even more how good these tour pro’s are.
Would love to see Mcbeth on one of these practice rounds for sure
luckily i live by the border of mexico and us and was able to go get two teeth pulled today. im glad to see these charities get so much awareness
Thanks for showing us the seahorse tee sign so we could judge for ourselves. I was really curious what he was seeing. Lol
"I lost one of my discs. You got anything you don't like in here?"
... Smooth.
I love watching an Am with pros! I would like to see more Am/Pro teams. Maybe each Pro gets an Am and compete. It's cool to see the difference between Am's and Pro's.

I about lost it when Gomez said “I finally did it, I made you proud papa”
What an awesome video. I liked it. I'm from Ohio less wind
This was a good episode. . I know I would enjoy more skins rounds!
The way Jonathan clapped the discs after jerms awesome put by impersonating exhaust sounds 😂
2 birdies to paradise. Eat my lunch and practice front nine. I love disc golf I'm watching your video. I have only traveled an hour in Ohio 1 way. I should be more dedicated on my game and thank-you guys
What is that awesome colorful bag that Jerm is pushing on the cart?
I like the idea of fairway hazards such as sand bunkers and areas of longer grass. When there are wide open fairways there should be some strategy on where to land.
Holy crap. I played a lot of disc golf when I was stationed in San Angelo TX. Small world
Heck yes to the skins matches 😍
Jeremy going full cookie monster on 11:03 was beautiful.
Im going to splinter city dgc in august i can't wait
Jonathan Gomez!!!! I joined the Navy from San Angelo🙌🏼🙌🏼 I remember seeing a disc golf course in San Angelo, but I was wondering if you’ve been back home and thought about designing a course there? Jerm’s SNL reference on the “I must be 28” was hilarious
This was great
I love Sextons sandy trap idea!
"I finally made you proud papa..." lolololololol
"He's an amateur. It's why he chose disc golf....media" got me. So real. How can I get a job with Jomez? I have no good skills to offer. But I love you.
Was fun to see Gomez play just to put it into perspective how hard it would be for me to play that course.
How is Sexton stocking his R-Pro Darts? I need the hookup :(
"Play with you buddies where you can actually beat them" -Jomez
Me, 776 rated who can't beat his buddies: "Sure rub it in."
One of my fav/funny Nate memories is at the Norman Pro/Am in 2015 where he smoked that dude in the face.
LOVE IT, Thomas Gilbert got in again about 2 minutes before end of video.....
Nice of Jonathan, Nate, and Jerm to let that quiet local guy play with them.
Loool that's good
I like the saying play with your buddy that's not better then you 🤣 Like I have a pro disc golf friend lol
Jonathan’s putting is pretty friggin good man
Nate Sexton is on to something. Thought about that same rule about the standstill throw. On my dream 18 that I will construct on my property, it will be because of a giant floor of mossy forest off the side of the fairway. Disc lands on moss, must shoot standstill for safety reasons (moss slides and gives way).
Always good!
Also, I would love to watch their pre commentary therapy session with videos of what they were talking about spliced in.
Jomez looks like the alien from Fire In the Sky.
Can we all agree that, Big Jerm's cart should be named little Jerm and needs it own show.
what would it cost to have a 1 on 1 practice round a with pro at an elite course?
@bigjerm Here's an excerpt explaining how to pronounce Guy Fieri's last name.

It would be neat to see a practice round with Scott Stokely!
