Thank You to everyone for showing your support. Been in a bit of a dark place recently but reading your comments helps me overcome the darkness with the light of your Love. Been watching videos by Markus K, a busker who travels the planet and I admire him greatly. Decided I should travel too. If you think I can play wherever you are let me know and I'll try to get there . One world, One Love.
Hey Mark, Best of luck with your travels! You should try to record online like Markus- K does. Im sure that helps his traveling kitty a lot more than busking quarters.
@@jeffipoo49 Thank You. I doubt I'd ever be as organised as Markus is ! I have BIG problems with being organised and learning stuff. I've now got an ipad and Loopy pro but can't work out how to use it despite watching lots of videos. Still haven't gone on any travels but making plans and I do hope to make some videos of me playing when I eventually get away.
Hallo Mark, Mr. Guitar, I‘m glad and hope to see you again on the street, playin your Strat and make the people smile! Wish you a very, very good and healthy 2024! You win again! Many greetings from the south of Germany to the british guitarrist with the greatest heart of soul!!!
You are a musical gift from the Gods my friend....I am 80 and have been playing since 1960, I still play, teach, and enjoy watching people like you. Cheers mate...🙂
I was 11 in 1960 and still have the first guitar my Mum bought me - a Hofner. Still play one of my guitars every day and have only just found Mark on RUclips. It surprises me that my little cricket bat Hohner G3T is my play everyday guitar. I love the passion in Mark's style and wish more people had heard Andy Latimer of Camel for feel and emotion. Hope I'm still playing at 80 !
Dear Mark, everytime i watch your Videos. To listen your Guitar play, its make me Happy, specially in that Crazy Times we have in the World. Love you, GOD BLESS YOU!!!! JOE from Germany
You are a lovely man. Sold out to your music and you do it so well! Would love to hear your Christas music. Glad to see you have restored your Strat. You need to be out there being a light, a sound, a feeling among people who love you and your gifts of music. Blessings to you Mark!
Love your music. Less so the room decor. Regardless, rock on, Mark! Glad the strat is back in capable hands and look forward to hearing it in future videos.
Excellent little video update Mark, always great to see you on the channel, sorry to hear about your situation but hopefully you find enjoyment from making videos as much as we will watching them! It’ll be fantastic to get more content from you going forward! Have a great Christmas and New Year! All the best!
That tone makes me wish I hadn't sold my Strat! I just never bonded with it and yours is on a different level. I saw you playing this one about 12 years ago in Carmarthen. I was with my one year old son Josh and he stopped in his tracks to listen to you! He's 13 now and has a Squier Strat that I bought him for Christmas 3 years ago. Sadly don't get to hear him play as he still lives in Wales and I've been back in Devon for the last 12 years. One day hopefully. Great to hear your playing again - such great feel and an obviously deep connection with your instrument and the music :-)
Well then, these gentlemen who restore guitars are magicians to be reckoned with. I loved the fact that the guitar neck keeps the marks from playing over the years. The guitar looks spectacular after being repaired. As for your self-dedication to music, it's very good and I recommend it to everyone as a great example of the eternal question: why are we born with music inside us? Perhaps because music is shared between those who listen and those who play, both exchanging sensations. We can also learn without books and, too often, the technique takes away a lot of creativity if used excessively. A hug to those who play, film and publish these noble and necessary actions in a world in which some men, insisting on instigating wars, still need musical awareness.
@@markallen7804 Ah... it happens to all of us. I'm not a believer, but that's what happened to God in the Bible when he created man. Excellent to see you and hear you playing. The job on your Strat was money well spent. I noticed when you opened how smooth and precise your trem is, has the block and arm been replaced too?
I replaced the block a few years ago with a Callaham block, I estimated about 5% improvement in tone and sustain . I think the arm in at the moment is a Dave Gilmour Callaham one, much shorter . Thanks for your comment.
